I think your OCs are okay, and the story so far is good. But the second half of chapter 2 was kind of boring, doing random Nightmare Night stuff.
You do have several grammatical and spelling errors, and you switch between past and present tense multiple times. Since this is a third person story, it should be almost completely past tense.

This story is ... okay I guess. I like the concept and plot so far, but the formatting leaves something to be desired. Especially in the early chapters you have a bad habit of switching between past and present tense. Also if you're going to be switching between he and she when referring to Frost Bite then you should probably do it from the viewpoint of another character that doesn't know his real gender when calling him a her. Otherwise it makes it seem like you as the author keep forgetting the gender of one of your main characters. That's considered bad storytelling.

I plan to rewrite them, but I still have other stories right now that I want to finish. As for the he/she thing, I was experimenting. I thought that was funny, so... Anyways, thanks for your input!

it's good to see you've finished on the one hand, but I cannot see that much will have happened that will conclude the story in the last two chapters from being on an alien world.

Oh, it's not that so much happened. It's rather a big thing happened.
Well, that... We... What? How could he just walk away from all that at the drop of a hat?
There's so much to reconcile, especially with recent events, that running away doesn't seem to make sense. Even Celestia offered a changeling redemption plot leaf!
So we're left with two heartbroken thestrals, two arrested traveling merchants, a mob of bounty hunters with a target, a Princess that thinks it's her fault, a barkeep that now has over 70 thousand bits (at least!) of damage to repay to the crown (and the loss of her automobile, damage to her shop, and others), and a Pinkie Promise we can't be certain he can keep! .
It just feels like a horrible nightmare we're just waiting to wake up from, very little makes sense and we're a bit dazed and confused what happened in this chapter.
I guess if this is your way to end this arc, fine, but... Why?
We'll have to let this latest development smolder in our mind for a while...
