That was really good. There was enough backstory without detracting from the plot, it was very descriptive, I liked how the characters were portrayed, and the sexual content was very appealing. Great job.
Does Shaun Sinclair happen to be the brother of an author who is a pessimist and wrote a novel about the hard times of being an immigrant in the early 1900s, but everyone who read his novel only focused on the horrors of how he described the slaughter houses?

So, they are in fact animals, just as humans are. I think you mean: are they beasts. Under the very archaic idea, a beast is an animal that isn't human. In which case, yes. But these days beasts are animals lacking in sapience. In which case, no, these theoretical ponies are not beasts as they are in fact sapient.
The whole "eeew, but they're animals" is just people having a knee jerk reaction without bothering to invest thought into the matter. It only came up like this for us since we're the only sapient species in our world. Understandable but entirely misplaced when considering theoretical settings and beings.

well...it was so good that even know I had to read bits and peaces of it throughout the day(dont ask me why I read stuff like this during school.) and my computer got turned off like 50 times and I had to re-lode the page and find my spot every time that I can still say this was an enjoyable peace of art literature.
