Applejack reads this article and, touched by his words, decides to give the naive writer a second chance. However, she needs to do it without her friends, Rarity in particular, knowing.

I can think of a couple early spelling things, but that's not the true problem here.
Your style is very much telling rather than showing. You might want to wrangle that in later chapters.
I believe Trenderjack is possible, but if that hack of an article is even a remotely plausible jumping-off point for a relationship, I'll eat my hat. The hook of "Ponyville, what words can I describe it with?" is terrible. Trenderhoof insults her 'external beauty' no less than three times in it. In fact, the whole column reads more like an absolutely terrible whining love note than a paid newspaper article about Ponyville. Way to bring the professionalism, Trenderhoof.

Check your use of the word "dwell." "Dwell" means "to live in, to make your home." Did you mean "delve?" Because that means "digging." Or you could just make it a simple "I don't want to go into that right now." But I liked AJ's slip of the tongue.

"Dwell" doesn't take "into," and Applejack isn't indicating that she doesn't want to meditate on or contemplate falling in love. She means that she doesn't want to discuss the subject further, and in that case, "delve" (to dig) works, and "dwell" does not.

Hmm a trenderjack shipping. I can see thing happening but at the same time I can't. Most males in this show don't have much personality and sadly Trender suffers from this too. I can imagen it would be hard to write a character in to a story when honestly you don't even know what this pony would do in that situation.
The awkwardness is strong, heck I would SIMPLY feel the same WAY if I was in there situation. Get in simple ways lol....... Ok that was stupid sorry.
