If this was how Gilda's visit vlew over thanks to Shining I can't wait to see what he'll do with Trixie. Let's hope he clears up that misunderstanding better then Twilight did.
I kind of get it now. It may be short but at least we know what happend after the event that had happend!
Vying to find a better after thought and forgiveness happening with Trixie episode.
For this episode, Shining clearly shows leveled headedness, which we know was not twilight's stronger traits.
Does this exist solely to set up the possibility of Shining x Rainbow shipping?
Still enjoyable though. And I'm still waiting for Gilda to come back in canon. Someday...

Not solely for that, no. I will not deny that it is in there though. I wanted to touch on "Griffon The Brush Off" but with it mainly being about Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, it would have pretty much been a repeat of the episode, which I did not want to do for the same reason you pointed out with the first story. It also sets it up so I can bring Gilda back again at a later time if I come up with a reason to.
