This was....interesting. I won't ne reading more of it but I want to tell you it's a good start.

Interesting...

Keep chucking them up and I'll read em :pinkiehappy:

Fun fact, EA remade this game in 2003 for the PS2. But while that was more faithful to the plot of the book/movie it was also shorter. You had a Hogwarts that wasn't very accurate in layout, and the story progressed over a series of five random days and nights. Plus the voice acting wasn't much of an improvement, and you could still only play as Harry. Fred and George had their own shop, but visiting it required sneaking past Percy. Something that is very difficult to do. :twistnerd:

3797307 Yes, I've heard of that version. It just seems to be a carbon copy of 'Chamber of Secrets'.

3808077 Indeed. Not much of a change. Though they make it easier to obtain the bag to hold more then 50 beans. The voice acting's not much of an improvement either.

I hoenstly don't know what Harry Potter book/moive I consider the best. I think I'll lean towards "Prisoner of Azkaban" as it's the only one to not have Voldemort in some way, shape, or form. There really isn't a Harry Potter book/moive that's bad. Though I did hate the burecracy present in "Order of The Phoneix". Seriously you would think that someone at some point would've drawn the line and said enough is enough.

My favorite movies were the first and second ones, all the others were way too poorly lit for me. :applejackunsure:

3823971 That was a problem with "Order of the Phoneix" and "Half Blood Prince", they had weird lighting. But they were still good movies, a shame that the movie adaptation of "Order of the Phoneix" cut out the Qudditch sub plot, but it doesn't make much sense for Ron to gain confidence and then backpedal from it in "Half Blood Prince".

Also, I believe that "Goblet of Fire" was the video game where they brought over the movie actors.

And I'll always love Remius Lupin. I particularly like how the movie version had it so that it wasn't Snape that was responsible for the last few plot points. Because with the motive we're given it makes him see like a villan, even though in the end he's not.

YAY!!!:yay::yay:Your going to eat out the 4th that was my first ps2 game and I couldn't pick up the controller for a long time and went back to pc Im just glad I found ratchet and clank.

Goblet of Fire is the point where the franchise starts out innocent, but by the end it is forever shattered. Sorry to see it had such a poor licenced game.

Thank you.:twilightsmile:you pulled the words right out of my mouth.
I did compleat the game thou.:twilightblush:

I actually think "Order of the Phoneix" had a good movie adaptation. It cut out most of the fluff present in the book about Umbridge abusing her power, or the fight in the Ministry. The Qudditich sub plot was interesting, but it made no sense for Ron to backpedal from that in "Half Blood Prince".

May I just say the next one was one of my guilty plesers.:twilightblush:

I have heard that Stephen Fry is one of the greatest examples of the human species

Luna is not wrong.

The problem was that the PS2 was still insanely popular because of the U.S. economy and the PS3's harsh price tag which drove off many potential buyers. Then when the price was driven down Sony made the boneheaded move to make the slim PS3 incompatiable with PS2 games, thus providing little incentetive for gamers to make the leap to the next generation.

So sad to see even Harry Potter tried to copy Call of Duty. When will gaming companines learn that such a thing doesn't work all the time? :facehoof:

I bet the best will be Chamber of Secrets for the PS2, and the worst will be Goblet of Fire for the PS2.

I suppose the reason why Half-Blood Prince got so much hate was because of the ending. Largely because at first, it seemed to ruin all the arguements that Snape wasn't a bad guy. It took Deathly Hallows to set the record straight.

Will there be a sequel exploring some of the spin off games, like "Qudditich Cup" and the "Lego" series?

...I actually own the first game somewhere. Got it for Christmas. I can't remember much except that I could never get past the bank section as a kid. So far this is pretty fun. I'll definitely read more.

This game is alright, but particularly because I don't have any special moves the matches tend to get really boring really fast once I've in the World Cup. I could've done with a bit more variety.

Why not a lot of likes? Dis is awesome!

I dunno, I think Order of the Phoenix is my personal fav.

One more, then the best one!

Meh.. I didn't like this game either. I mean, the book is easily on of my favorites, but the game was frustrating and the visuals crappy (to me).

OMGOMGOMGOMG SHE DID IT YAY! SQUEE!

Y'know, the stupid thing is Order of the Phoenix is longer.

I dunno, my fav was Prisoner of Azkaban for PS2.

the Game boys better they got rid of the stupid sheild limiter finder, so it was completable but the worst was the yule ball dancing, and wizard fight

i got a noah antwiler vibe from this perticualler chapter. not bad

to be honest, i would love to see luna reveiw something else. it would be kind of neat, you know? seeing someone from that reality looking in on what types of games we play. don't know, just thinking to my self i guess.

Glad to see Luna thinks well of Stephen Fry.
She's right to do so.
My mother would play this on the PC version, not as good as the PS1, unfortunately, rather bland but I think it was made before the PS1 version so it's fair for its time.
Every year she'd start playing it all over again, convinced she'd missed something from last time. It drove me insane!

You ever plan on doing the Lego Harry Potter games?

Chamber of Secrets was the HP game that I first had and I enjoyed it a lot, I often replayed the game when I was bored growing up.

Didn’t play much of the other games bar a little bit of GOF & some POA along with the demo for OOTP.

Luna the game reviewer !!! I like it

Can someone do a reading of this please? I'd take either Scribbler, Skijaramaz, or StraightToThePointStudios.:pinkiehappy:

Those are the only good readers I know of.:facehoof:

Siriusly can somepony get in touch with one of those guys? I'd really like to hear a reading of this done.
