Celestia is feeling especially lonely on the first Hearth Warming's Eve without her sister. She makes one desperate attempt to send her a gift.

I suppose sometimes a brief glimpse can be worth as much as a long tale. Quite sad, and yet lucky for us that knows the happy ending waiting there. And on the note of a happy ending....

Luna found herself nestling into her sister's side upon winter's first eve, the first flakes of snow drifting in their brief little dance of white onto the roofs and streets of Canterlot. Beside her a mare whiter than the snow, sipping her hot chocolate from that familiar mug of pearl and gold, testament to the power of magic and care to keep an aged relic such as it in tact. In fact so familiar was the artifact that the younger of the two began to wonder, and asked aloud, "Sister, where might I find mine old mug? When last I sought it, I found only yours, and a strangest pile of dust on a cushion...?"

Celestia, the mare whiter than the falling snow looked in surprise at her younger sibling, the stoic mask of serenity so etched on her face knocked quite handily askance by the simple question. "Well Luna..."
