Princess Celestia, Guardian and Ruler of Equestria has many secrets. Not that she intentionally hides them. Some things just don't come up in conversation. But there are other things that must never be known by anypony. Only a select few may know Equestria's True Past. Among those are Princess Twilight Sparkle, still adjusting to her new life as a Princess and having a thirst for knowledge that surprises even her former teacher. But how will Twilight react when she learns the truth?

Liking where it's going so far, but just a friendly tip; all those ellipses can be distracting. You can easily change some to single periods for the same effect, or change to different punctiations, like so:
To use the em dash I put in there, on your keypboard hold [Alt], and type 0(zero)151 on the number pad. I also removed the ellipse on the end of the entire quote. Also, I noticed a few times you used "its" where "it's" should be. What I do to make sure I don't miss those, is read the sentence in my mind—or aloud—using "its" and "it is" respectively to see which one fits.
Again though, this is definitely interesting so far. The thing I like most so far is how apprehensive Princess Celestia is about Twilight finding out the past, and more specifically, hers. Really makes one wonder what you have planned, and what we readers have in store for us.
Should be short-cut or short cut, unless her mane is a quick way of getting from A to B that happens to be light blue.

Have to admit, the pacing seems a little off at the start. Rushed introducied the forbbidden section and the scroll, then skipping over a lot about Twilight adapting to becoming a Princess with having to select her own guard, probably could of talked about how Candance has her own Guard as well.
Still, things settled out a bit at the end... so... I'll follow to see how this goes.
