Five hundred years ago Celestia defeated a strong foe. She had him imprisoned on an island to the west of Equestria where he would be no danger to anypony. Now he has escaped, and is headed straight for Canterlot.

The evil and corrupt Queen Chrysalis has been defeated. The good and kind King Thorax has been coronated (without a crown). The Changeling Kingdom is being reconstructed by the now-good changelings under King Thorax. Finally free from a selfish ruler, the changelings are going to be happy for a long time.

And then they wonder about what they're going to do.

What is there to talk about when much of their lives was about planning evil plans and finding sources of love (and food)? What is there to do in a kingdom being rebuilt in the middle of wasteland? The only thing that the changelings were sure of was their job in rebuilding the Kingdom. In their free time, there was not much else.

Good thing Thorax was a good king since he let the changelings have free time and free days.

So, some changelings journeyed out of the Changeling Kingdom to travel Equestria.

We all know the stories of how Luna became Nightmare Moon and how Discord filled Equestria with non-stop chaos. But what if these things never happened?

Instead of Luna becoming jealous of Celestia and becoming evil, Celestia becomes obsessed with order and harmony. She seeks to obtain perfect order, and she can only do that if she destroys chaos and disharmony.

Discord knows that not everyone can live in total chaos so he keeps the hardcore chaos in his own realm, and has his shenanigans down to a minimum when he visits Equestria. Little does he know that the invitation Celestia sent him was nothing more than a trap.

Once Granny Smith hears that Twilight is thinking about getting some guards in Ponyville to make the town seems a little safer. The other girls are finding it hard to decide, so Granny Smith tells them about the tale of Ponyville guardian. A unicorn and how Ponyville itself was almost destroyed.

As everypony knows, there are only four powers in the forces of chaos; Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch and Slaanesh. The Imperium of Ponykind's finest soldiers - the Equitus Astartes, Arbitrotters, Mares of Battle and more - are all that stands between them, and total mayhem.

But what if that isn't the case? What if four ponies of Celestia's Most Holy Inquisition followed orders and found something that should never have been unearthed by ponykind, something that will turn everything they know about themselves completely upside down...?

Very little can damage them or the reputation they have among the citizens.
That is until the Bringer of Chaos showers his temptations and trickeries upon them both on the day of his return.
What happened to two ponies so seemingly untroubled by the trials of normal ponies.
What weaknesses do they have that Discord just so enjoys exploiting.
And how will they recover from the living nightmares they suffered.
Can they bear to show themselves to Canterlot.
Or each other?
