It's cute, but it could be more thought out.

For one, I doubt Applejack's parents would react so vehemently towards Applejack getting a dog, it seems a little out of character for them.

Her family also seems to be not quite right, considering Big Mac and Granny Smith are both nowhere to be found, despite them being a close family.

If this was edited to remove some of the continuity errors, as well as improving AJ's country accent, I think this could be a really good story.

PS: Capitalize the title and add a form of cover art to make it more polished looking, just make sure to credit the author when doing so!
