In the frozen north of the Equestrian Wasteland lays a city, battered and crippled, but still clinging to life. It is beset on all sides my dangers.

Displaced griffins rage against the ponies they blame for the apocalypse. Madmares brood with their unquestioning minions under mountains of prewar technology. The Unity extends its malefic tendrils to sake it endless hunger for slaves. Unnatural horrors stalk the forests, consuming all in their path. A dozen factions rage against each other in wars of words, caps, secrets and fire, tearing at the very foundation of The Sovereign City. All the while an ancient threat prepares to once again, bathe its self in the blood and anguish of ponies.

My name is Romeo, and I am desperate for friends. That mare over there is Scorch, she likes to torch ponies and that short pony over there. That`s Wire a thief and a former addict. Why we are even together? Well funny you should mention that. Let me enlighten you...

During a traumatic event, an outsider finds himself flung violently into Equestria. His physical form is warped into that of the inhabitants but will his mentality follow? And even more importantly, will anypony truly accept him for who he is? Take a journey alongside this inexperienced youth as he finds himself in a strange new world with very different customs and tries his hardest to find a place for himself where he didn't before. A pity he can't even remember his name...

Okay, the basics. It's first person almost entirely. Very, very long chapters. I try to wrap them up around twelve to thirteen pages but a few slipped over that, especially towards the end. I'll release them slightly stagnated, as I'll be making final revisions as I go. Character tags are NOT final. I'll add more main characters as they show up in each chapter. Expect an update one or two times a week, probably. I adore reviews and structured, constructive criticism. Even if you just want to say you like it, that's fine too. :) I write stories to entertain peoples, so any evidence I get that it's working will encourage me. I hope you enjoy the story!

Inspired by the heroics of the mysterious mare known as the Stable Dweller, Silver Storm, a guard of the town of Marefort, decides to go on a daring mission to rescue her captured brother. Of course things rarely go as planned and her attempts at heroism drags her into a tangled web of plots and conspiracies as warring factions vie for control over the last great city: Dise.

Ember is a young unicorn mare who regains her freedom after years of slavery. Follow her on her journey through the wasteland. Will she withstand its horrors without going crazy? Will she be able to come to peace with her past? Will she ever find happiness? And most importantly: will she ever find something tasty to eat?
