But, when Discord is released, and aids Bowser's forces in invading Equestria and kidnapping Peach, Celestia, and Luna, Twilight and her friends must work together with Mario and Luigi on an adventure spanning two kingdoms, to rescue the princesses, defeat Bowser and Discord, and return Equestria and the Mushroom Kingdom to their former glory.

Born from the nothingness of darkness, he is met by Twilight who finds him unconscious in the middle of the Everfree Forest. What will happen will change the fates of many of her friends and of this mysterious being. Can he, Twilight, and her friends figure out why he is here and where he comes from or will a dark power rise and take over.

Edit: I did forget to do this, so I'll go ahead and say that this takes place just before season 4 begins. And another thing I forgot, hopefully this is the last one, it also takes place way before MLP: EG.
