Two months after the events of Equestria Girls the monsters locked behind the gates of Tartarus find a way into the human world. With the gateway to Equestria locked for another twenty eight moons the only way to help is for Celestia to create reflections of the Elements of Harmony and have Sunset Shimmer give them to her new friends and the recently transferred native Twilight Sparkle. With these elements Twilight and her new friends become the magical Equestria Girls!

When an unknown meteor shower descends upon Equestria. Seven meteor's crash at different points in the magical land. Princess Celestia informs the elements of harmony that it is a sign that an old prophecy is coming to pass. As the six begin their journey, they discover that each meteor holds a pony who claims to have never seen Equestria before. The first one which crashed in Ponyville holds the gentlecolt calling himself, Jonathan Joestar. They all soon realize that they must gather the remaining stallions in order to avert a catastrophe of biblical proportions.

"There will come a time, when seven stars fall. Upon this day, a bizarre journey must take place to gather them together. For the evil they herald possesses powers unlike any other, sono chi no sadame!"

Rainbow Dash was content living her ordinary, awesome life. However, when a mysterious new student, Josei Nijimura, arrives at Canterlot High she discovers that she has an ability known as Stand. When the duo stumble upon a peculiar organization present in Ponyville, Rainbow and Josei investigate their actions and must tackle the possible threat head-on.

Six powerful entities have awakened, being that are even more ancient than Equestria itself. When these beings threaten not only Ponyville but all of Equestria it's up to the Elements of harmony to stop them!
Unfortunately, they have no idea how, but one family has passed down the legends of this threat with each generation, and they alone know the secret of defeating them.
The last remaining member of the family: Derpy Hooves!

While on the hunt for Dio, Jojo's team come across a young girl who holds a golden object. When they try to ask her were she got it from she uses a strange power and cast them down into an abyss. When they awoke they find out that they have all been turn into ponies and in an entire new world. Now they are on a quest to return to their own world and kill Dio before Jotaro's mother dies.

After a falling star crashes into Equestria, ponies all over the world begin to develop a ghostly companion known as a "stand" that grants them strange and unique powers. An attack on Ponyville made by an insane madpony triggers a series of events that sends stand user Twilight Sparkle on a bizarre adventure all across Equestria in persuit of the derranged unicorn that laid waste to her hometown. Based off of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga made by Hirohiko Araki.

Following Chrysalis's scheme to capture every important pony in Equestria and replace them with Changelings, Celestia came to the conclusion that it was time for some new heroes to arise. Some who would take up the mantle whenever the Main Six or Starlight Glimmer and her friends were unable to assist.

She sends Twilight Sparkle and her friends across the ocean to make some new friends, some who would hopefully be able to fight against the forces of darkness and save the world from any new threats that might surface.

Little do they know that it's not going to be as easy as they think...

The Fall Formal is on the prowl once again. This time, however, it's anyone's game on who could be the princess.
