Set in a century after the settlement of Appaloosa, Jonagold Apple decides that for her school paper that she would research on her relative, her great-great-grandfather, Braeburn Apple. She goes to the town's library and asks if they have any primary sources. The only thing they have is a dusty box containing the correspondence between her ancestor, and a stallion named Soarin Cloudline.

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

I know, pretty inventive title, right? Sometimes, while in the middle of a story or just brushing my teeth in the shower, lyrics will pop into my head and I'll have to write them down before I forget them. The "Tragedy", "Sad", and "Dark" tags are applied more out of a relation to the backstory behind the subject matter than anything else. In the end, we all know that Cele and Luna managed to make amends and that the truly loyal never need to worry about being betrayed.

It's been nearly a year since Prince Blueblood and Fancy Pants were properly introduced at the Grand Galloping Gala, and to say it's been a big year for both is an understatement. It was no joke just what kind of field day the media got from their ever growing interest surrounding Prince Blueblood's newly arisen homosexuality, and boy-toy is the by far one of the most affectionate terms he's been called lately. At the very least Fancy Pants is supportive and kind, as usual. However it's evident that something has been bothering him lately, and even Blueblood has been having trouble deducing why.

Sonata couldn't believe it. She wasn't smiling, she wasn't happy, and was clearly shattered. She could only think of one solution: Jump. Finish the job. Besides, who would care that she's dead? Nobody liked her anyways... except the ones that cared.
