Finally, the summer vacation has started. But for Silver Spoon, this doesn't mean fun and play. She has to go to summer class. And if going to school during precious summer time wasn't bad enough, Apple Bloom is there, too. But what seemed to become a nightmare of a vacation slowly turns out to be a chance to finally change a lot of things in Silver Spoon's life.

After her ascension into an alicorn, Rainbow Dash managed to dodge royal responsibilities in order to stay with her friends and try to grow closer with Twilight Sparkle, the mare she’s fallen head over hooves for. Everything in her life was just perfect.

Well, except for the fact she’s got meddling princesses dogging her every step, alicorn powers that run on emotion instead of concentration causing random weather around Ponyville depending on her mood, and this new guy on the weather team that’s trying to attract the local librarian’s interest.

Oh yeah, there’s also some big evil bad guys plotting stuff in the background too. But…who has time to deal with that when love is on the line?

Twilight Sparkle had always loved dancing. However, she was never very good at it, so she contented herself to watch others. When she heard that Princess Luna was starting Equestria's first ever annual "Lunaris Absolvo" Dance competition she immediately wanted to enter, but remembering all of her past attempts at dancing, with her birthday party being the most recent, she realized she would be laughed out of the competition before the first song even ended. But then she found a tutor in a pony she least expected.

However over the course of time Rainbow has found the farmer constantly making excuses to avoid her, and it seems that she is too busy for anything. It's a peaceful day, Rainbow is just taking it easy, doing her job just like everypony else, when she gets word that Applejack wants to see her right away. Unfortunately the news is terrible... It turns out that the mare of Rainbow's dreams had been lying to her all along...

Everything seems like it is spiralling out of control for the poor peagsus, and she seeks refuge in the one friend that she knows that will help her in time of need. Will Rainbow be able to piece back the parts of her broken heart? Will the now destroyed friendship between Rainbow and Applejack, be able to go back to normal after what happens? Does Applejack deserve to be forgiven for what choices she has made?

They say when one door closes, that another one opens... But why must some doors cause so much pain and suffering when they close?

While cleaning the Apple family attic Rarity is surprised to learn that Applejack can play the violin. After hearing her play, Rarity and Applejack are sent into a series of events that changes their ways of viewing themselves and each other.

Sunset Shimmer was redeemed, and together with her friends they summoned the power of the rainbow to defeat the sirens, friendships that if she were still a pony would last forever. But high school ends, people go to college….and one does not become a direct conduit for the magic of The Rainbow without being forever changed.

Now Sunset returns home and discovers she has changed far more than the world she once left behind has.
