When the Cutie Mark Crusaders got chosen for the Flag Carrier for Ponyville, Diamond Tiara wants something to bottle her anger out on. She and Spike share an accidental kiss, not knowing how to feel about it. She makes fun of how Spike will never get a Cutie Mark.

Silver Spoon, not wanting to go along with Diamond's mocking of the young dragon. Silver and Spike soon start spending more time with each other, Silver Spoon leaving Diamond Tiara to spend more time with Spike. Tiara flares up with jealous that Spike and Silver Spoon maybe together.

Breakups are hard. They're only made more difficult when they involve Death, a missing ex, and a ticking expiration date on a Wonderbolts acceptance letter. Spike will have to traverse Lewis Carroll's wet dreams on acid if he wants to find Rainbow Dash by the end of the day.

Unfortunately, there are many obstacles ready to impede his path, many discoveries still for the drake to have—like Greed glorifying gluttony guiding him to his desires like a used car dealer—and an old love interest hellbent on getting him back. Maybe it's about time Spike started caring. Well, kinda caring.

Spike has remained a baby while everyone else is growing up. His desire to do the same, however, lands him in a hospital bed with a strange new body.

Ponies are treating him differently, the world he once knew is no longer the same, and the onset of sudden changes are hard to adapt to. Fortunately, Scootaloo is there to ease him through his recovery.

Update: This story is being rewritten after long contemplation. I apologize, but I feel as though this story has made a few wrong turns in the creative process I shouldn't have permitted in a lighthearted romance narrative.

Spike is a dragon, currently in the height of his youth. He lives with a princess, works with the love of his life, and he couldn't ask for more.
Well, actually, he could. A lot more.
As his life begins to change, Spike finds that everything around him does as well, and he's damn set on finding out a better path to follow.

This story is a sequel to Seventh Wheel

After the weekend finally comes, Twilight takes Spike and Applebloom to Canterlot so that the latter two can go to the Space Trek convention...

This convention is also the two's first date. So join them as they stumble, awkwardly, around each-other and try to be romantic without it coming across cliché or cheesy.

Pairings: SpikeBloom, obviously, with mentions of RumbLoo, DinSqueak and ButtonBelle.

What if every choice made by us will result an a door? And what if this door will show us the future of our decision? Spike will learn this the hard way...again...
