Hearth's Warming is supposed to be a time of rest, relaxation, and time spent with friends or loved ones. For Twilight, it's more of the opposite.

During a thunderstorm, Derpy comforts Dinky by telling her the story behind the legendary pony causing it.

When the guards find a foal crying in the city streets, they bring him to Celestia's attention. Soon after, It becomes apparent he has fallen through every crack in Equestria's society. Feeling she has failed the colt, Celestia takes him into her own home.

Ever since moving to Ponyville, Twilight has neglected something: her other residence. The rooms she used in the Canterlot Archives are still filled with her possessions. Spike, knowing the deadline is hours away from arriving, recruits the Bearers to help her.

But Twilight doesn't want help.

A deadline is in front of her, and she's -- stalling.

After Big Macintosh builds a play castle for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, the excited fillies spend a great deal of time waging epic battles against and alongside each other, besieging and defending the castle, saving princesses, deposing warlords and tyrants, and often suffering melodramatic deaths while they're at it. Often they find themselves aided by and fighting against various monsters hailing from Vaati's palace that want in on the fun. This is a record of all their various adventures.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This was originally going to just be a oneshot, but other people have persuaded me to add more to it, thus this shall be a collection of oneshots based around the games the CMC and various monsters play in this castle. This takes place in the Equestrian Wind Mage continuity.

Scootaloo has never told anypony that she is an orphan, that her parents one day decided not to come home. She has been on her own since she was very little. She has learned to fend for herself, care for herself, and doesn't want help from anypony, including her best friends. It isn't until a certain purple unicorn learns the truth and takes her into her home that Scootaloo realizes she needed help from somepony a long time ago.

Please do not ask if you can continue this story. The answer will be no.

It's that time of year again. The leaves are turning, the air is cooling, and the chimneys are smoking.

But to a young Shining Armor, this can only mean one thing: pony flu season has arrived. And, thanks to his mother, this inevitably means a date with the dreaded needle.

Only this time, Shining isn't the only one who has to be worried. His filly sister is coming along for the ride for the first time... albeit, against her will.

And despite having fears of his own, Shining Armor knows that, for Twilight's sake... somepony has to be brave.
