Applejack has the flu and it's definitely got her feeling upside down. Some medicine and a good nap should do the trick, right? Too bad she left the TV on while her disease riddled mind was trying to recover. Oh, and she should really check the label on her meds before taking them.

Rated Teen for mild language.

Not long after winning the honor of carrying the Ponyville flag for the Equestria Games, Scootaloo finds herself struggling with schoolwork, friendships, and of course, her inability to fly. While working on an assignment for school, she discovers the existence of a group of powerful psychics that Equestrian royalty consult for many things - including helping parents choose a name for their newborn foals.

Curious, Scootaloo pleads for Princess Twilight Sparkle to meet them and ask the one question that she direly wants to know - "Will I ever be able to fly?"

Despite Princess Celestia's warning, Twilight meets with them - but is the truth worth the price she may have to pay to herself and Scootaloo?

Story takes place after "Flight to the Finish," and then branches from there.

`Scootaloo hung her head glumly, her right fore-hoof absently drawing an indistinguishable pattern on the wood of her desk. Her purple eyes drifted wistfully to one of the windows. The sun was shining and a light breeze was blowing, a perfect day to be out.

But she was stuck here.

With both of her friends sick one day from school, Scootaloo has to find somepony else to hang out with. Terrible taunts, slimy spitballs and errant TV quotes ensure.

It's coming up for Mother's Day in Ponyville — which just so happens to be the same day Ariane Apple gets back from a visit to her family in Manehatten.

But her absence won't prevent Applejack and Big Macintosh from making the necessary preparations to make sure that she has the best day ever.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Joint winner for the UK of Equestria's Bi-Monthly Fanfiction Writing Contest, the theme for which was Mother's Day (as if that wasn't obvious enough).

Beginning school is a difficult time for anypony, but from such a stressful environment, lasting friendships can form between the most unlikely ponies. Such is the case between Snips and Snails.

Those annoying Cutie Mark Crusaders have always been a pain in Diamond Tiara’s flank, but Rainbow Dash adopting Scootaloo as a little sister was the last straw. Now Diamond Tiara is off to the Ponyville Hospital to shop for a new little sister of her own, but she should be careful.

She may just get more than what she expected.

Hearths Warming Day is almost upon the village of Ponyville and no two ponies are more excited then Sweetie Belle and Button Mash. For the energetic gamer, it's a chance to get as many new games as he wants, but for Sweetie Belle she's excited because she'll be living a dream. After a year of saving their money, she and her sister are going to the Manehatten Hearths Warming Show where all the best actors, musicians, and performers play for one night only.

However, when disaster strikes leaving Sweetie Belle's dreams shatterd, Button resolves to help his best friend.
