I always loved my little brother. He has always been one of the friendliest, sweetest, and most unique colts you would ever meet. But I always had the knowledge that he was different, and a lot of ponies would hate him for it. It wasn't until this most recent spring that the cruel reality of the world would break him down. When Canterlot has to be evacuated for a week Twilight offers her parents a place to stay.
Trouble is, while Twilight is a grown up, independent pony who has saved the world (At least three times) Her parents still treat her like she's a filly.
Her father is going through a mid-life crisis.
And her mother is trying to set her up with every single stallion in Equestria.

This is going to be a LONG week.

After repeatedly being excluded and left behind from the Mane 6's adventures, only to do his chores at the library, Spike begins to feel bitter about his role as Twilight's assistant.

But upon seeing a shooting star one fateful night, he makes a wish that turns his life upside down.

The results of this wish will force Spike to discover the true meaning of purposes in life, friendship and most importantly, being wary of what you wish for.
