Tradition. Status. Two words that resonate in the daily lives of the noble gryphons, high and low. For hundreds of years, the hierarchy has reigned supreme, from family, clan, to state. This is how it has been, how it is, and how it will remain.

However...

In the century before the return of Nightmare Moon, Tor Razorwing, aristocratic senator of the Confederacy of the Gryphons, commits an act of kindness that breaks social barriers, and unknowingly strikes upon the foundation of a fragile social order. Between the duties of the upper class to uphold tradition and the need to pursue the freedom of his people, a crisis boils beneath a facade of righteousness and order.

Tor’s world balances on the tip of an upturned mountain - Will it right itself back into the seat of stability? Or will it tumble, and with it, break into a world that dares to find new meaning?

Ever wonder what happened after you die? I guess it all depends on what you believe...... I didn't believe much, that's why I was left where I was, I was so hungry at the time......

I got the idea for this story in the shower, pondering life's most intriguing mystery: life after death.

Discord was defeated. Villains always are. It’s really quite cliché.

Before he lost, he asked himself a question: what if your virtues went out of control, rather than your flaws? Perhaps if the heroes and villains weren't so clear-cut, the conclusion wouldn't be so inevitable. If nothing else, there would be some fun chaos along the way!

Can the main six find a way to undo Discord's magic, in spite of themselves and each other?

Disclaimer; I have been working on this for a while, and the writing at the beginning is not as good as the writing later. Hopefully it is not too great of an impediment to the story.

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie dress up as superheroes and head out to fight crime - or boredom. Same thing, really. When Pinkie Pie reveals that her favorite superhero is even cooler than Daring Do, trying to find an opportunity for heroics won't be the only thing gnawing on Rainbow's mind.

I am being stalked by a crazy girl with wild pink hair and laughing blue eyes. She says she knows me. She says we’re best friends. And sometimes ... sometimes I think she just might be right.

It's one thing to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. It's something quite different to worry that it doesn't have a right side anymore. Stuck in an artistic rut, Rarity has to rely on an unlikely friend to understand who she is, and in doing so, discovers that what we want may not always be obvious, even to oneself.

There may or may not be an excess of hats involved, and fabulosity is guaranteed.

I remember I wanted to write something to do with AJ and Pinkie, along with something kinda spooky for Halloween 2011, so I ended up scribbling this out quickly for fun.

Based on that egg that Pinkie lays when she ran off in Luna Eclipsed, don't know why but this just came to mind for me.

It's based on the Sci-Fi idea of 'Grey Goo', based on the spread of nanomachines that overrun a world and devour it, I just Pinkie-fied it.

A pony is called stubborn when they refuse to change their mind no matter the persuasion against them. A pony is called persistent in hindsight when their refusal turns out to be a wise decision. "Persistence" is nothing more than what they call stubbornness when it turns out to have been for the best all along.

Pinkie Pie and Applejack may or may not be persistent, but they are most definitely stubborn.
