Um, wow! Thank you! I really wanted to show Inkie in a light where she was comfortable and happy with her life, but it had taken a while to get to that point. I'm glad you liked it! And her cutie mark gave me so much trouble. Took me forever to think of something proper!

Just got caught up finally with all the chapters in The Album, and I wanted to leave a comment here that yours was fantastic. It gave me pause to consider a character that before I'd never really given more than a seconds glance. It had a wistful, but ultimately satisfying, atmosphere as Inkie reflected on how she arrived at the present. And the dual meaning behind her cutie mark was an inspiring touch.

I hope to see more from you, whether it's about Inkie or a different character.

Wow, thank you both! I haven't been on the past couple days and didn't even realize my piece was up... Anyway, I'm really glad you both liked it!

As for more, well, I hope so. I've got a lot of ideas that I'm working on and I've started considering doing an even longer piece for Inkie. I made up all that background for her, it'd be a shame for it to go to waste. Ahem, what I mean is, I really hope to have something else published on here!
