After his latest attempt at gaining Rarity's affection failed, Spike decides to try making a love potion to win her affection. But what happens when Rarity falls for somepony else? In fact, what happens when everypony in Ponyville falls for somepony? How will Spike and others be able to survive when those close to them want to be 'closer'?

What happens when you realize that your feelings for one of your friends aren't quite the same as your feelings for the rest of them? Do you just prefer some friends for others, or is it a sign of something deeper? What do you do with those feelings? Hide them? Admit them? And how will the rest of your friends react when they find out?

Twilight is going to have to do her best to find the answers, because they're anything but obvious.

Yes, this is a story about romance, but I'm trying to use it to explore the relationships between the characters and see how they'd really react if romantic feelings ever did crop up, and how such a development would impact the cast as a whole.

This is another fic I originally published to deviantART about a year ago. Like An Entwining of Hearts, it was then posted to Equestria Daily in October.

It's a two shot somewhat comedic shipping fic, focusing in on the Twilight/Pinkie ship. The basic plot is that Twilight gets bored and ends up reading a dating guide. Not knowing much on the subject, she starts to go around look for a date. Pinkie eventually gets involved.

Colgate's bored of her life. Sure, owning a dental practice is fulfilling, but it lacks that certain... je ne sais quoi. But when a mysterious stallion appears offering her a new life in exchange for unwavering loyalty to the Crown, she is plunged into a shadowy world of intrigue and lies, stretching from the searing deserts of Saddle Arabia to the frozen wastes of the Crystal Empire.
