A gift from a magician gives the former great and powerful Trixie an opportunity to steal Twilight's magic to renew her traveling magic show. However, things don't go as expected and the two unicorns switch bodies instead, forcing Trixie to become the Amazing and Wonderful Sparkle, leaving Twilight in a bind.

Luna's isolation and difficult reentry into Equestrian life has left her without the confidence to communicate with the ponies around her. Especially the one pony she most wants to talk to. Celestia is angry, Twilight is upset and it's all her fault. Then she has an idea... She'll invite Twilight into her dreams. What could possibly go wrong?

Twilight Sparkle is summoned to settle a legal matter involving The Great and Powerful Trixie... What in Equestria did she do now?

The Elements of Harmony are defeated and Nightmare Moon stands on Equestria's throne as their new Queen. Is Equestria doomed to suffer through night time eternal or will they be... perfectly fine? Twilight finds her new job as slave or "personal assistant" to her new ruler to be a bit maddening. But is this evil sarcastic queen really as bad as she originally believed? And just how many others are diabolical enough to cash in on the change in staff? Can Nightmare truly run a peaceful Equestria? After a heated argument with her sister, Sweetie Belle runs off into the Whitetail Woods.

Here she meets the princess of the moon.

The two bond, and Sweetie Belle is taken in as Luna´s student.

All seems well. But does Luna still hold a grudge on her sister? (a thousand years on the moon, is a long time after all).

When Luna rises to overthrow Celestia? Sweetie Belle is forced to choose between her sister and her mentor.

The general idear of the story was generated before "Luna Eclipsed", hence the lesson from "Sisterhooves Social." Is left out. Also Lunas character may not match canon.

A year after the infamous Nightmare Moon was defeated brings about more worries toward Princess Celestia, who frets over her sister's re-developing hostility toward her and her loyal subjects. When she's rebuilt back into the horror known as Nightmare Moon, who is the only pony left that's even slightly capable of stopping the dreadful villain? The Mane 6 is slowly dropping, leaving only the brainy Twilight Sparkle to try and end the chaos and darkness consuming Equestria, forced to fight against her five beloved best friends after each and every one of them are corrupted by Nightmare Moon's wicked promises and fox-like charisma.
