Authors notes: The first chapter is super short (its also really awesome if I do say so myself) but the rest won't be. Promise. There will be some combat later on, but at the moment, it won't be super graphic, so again, dodging a bullet. The first 2 or 3 chapters will be a little sad/tragic, but its not the tone of the story, and its nothing to bad so they won't be tagged. The entire story will not be written like the first chapter. This is a realistic view on how shipping would actually happen in the show. Almost every pony has been shipped with everypony else, but this is what would actually happen if two ponies ever attempted at a relationship.

Queen Chrysalis and King Metamorphosis are two ruling changelings from two separate Hives, each one having a certain enmity toward one another due to events in their past. When they separately learn of the wedding between Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, they plan to ruin it by taking the places of the ponies to be wed. However, they are completely unaware of each other's involvement or intent.

With both putting on a deceptive act toward one another, what happens when the deceivers are unknowingly deceived themselves? And can Shining and Cadance, each believing they must save one another from a fake, be reunited, or will they fall prey to the entrapment of the changelings?

A human child is found at the edge of the Everfree forest. She seems to embody all the innocence and magic that make up Equestria and the fantastical creatures that live there, but as the six friends struggle to care for her and find a way to get her home they discover that the human world can be a cruel and tragic place and through this loss of innocence they realize that they are what hopes and dreams mean to a child in another world who has no hope left.

Princess Cadence is a lonely filly who has been shielded and protected all her life as a princess and member of the dwindling race of Sacred Alicorns. She longs for a friend her age to play with, and as a young teen she is sent to stay in Canterlot where her Aunt Celestia would personally mentor her in developing her magic. There she hopes to finally have the freedom she longs for and find somepony to be her friend. Instead, she is asked to foal sit for one of her aunt's royal adviser's fillies who may just be as lonely and reclusive as she.

This is the story of how Princess Cadence learns that the ability to give love cannot be complete without finding love for yourself, and sometimes it is found when you least expect it.

Princess Luna wants to thank the mane six for all they've done for her by setting up blind dates for all of them. And the best part? There's no way it could possibly go wrong.
