A strange storm transports Equestria and the Crystal Empire to Earth, less than four days before Germany would have invaded Poland and World War II would have begun. Unfortunately, during negotiations with world leaders, an evil entity breaks free of its prison and causes the war, and Equestria is drawn into it. How will they survive this?

Takes place just under two months after the two opening episodes of Season 3. Events diverge from there.

Captain Rainbow Dash is in BIG trouble. 13 years ago she made a deal with the ghostly Dragon Ruler of The Ocean Depths Spike Jones to raise the Black Pearl from the depths. Now her time is up and so she must now serve on Jones' crew or be sent to Spike Jones' Locker, courtesy of the kraken. The only way out is for her to seize the fabled Dead Stalliion's Chest and use it as leverage against Spike. Meanwhile, relcutant swashbuckler Shining Armor and his fiancee Cadence Mi Amore face a death sentence for freeing Rainbow a year earlier unless Shining Armor can find Rainbow and convince her to return to Port Royal. After a mirror portal field trip being conducted by Luna goes terribly wrong, Ocellus finds herself trapped in a strange palace far from home. That palace, once abandoned, is now infested with a hive of love-starved changelings intent on using her only way home as a means to invade her world.

Otherwise, Ocellus appears to be alone.

The story is inspired by, and a homage to, my favorite game of the last decade. However, this story is neither a crossover nor AU. This story is set after "The End of the End" (but before "The Last Problem"), and is purely a My Little Pony story. When an inter-dimensional gate opens between Sweet Apple Acres and rural California, Twilight must act quickly before any creature gets hurt—pony, alicorn, or invader.

Events in this story take place before season 9 episode 1 and announcement of the royal retirement. [Teen] for weapons and some intense scenes. This story will consist of many smaller chapters published daily or every other day, and is an exercise in cliffhangers. It is a long novella, and is completely written. If it catches on, I plan to open-source or invite writing in the universe I created.

Introduction: The following Journal entries belong to James Tinwool of the 24th Royal Infantry, who disappeared the day before the Battle of the Somme in 1916. The journal was discovered months after the battle, but James himself was never found during the war. The dates in the journal correspond to before, during and after the battle, however, the journal states that he was nowhere near the battlefield. Some scholars believe that the dates between June 30th to September 5th is pure fantasy that he wrote to cope with his shell shock. James Tinwool himself, who was found years after he reappeared back in England, up to his death in 1948 always made the statement: “Everything that I've written in that journal is true. All of it.” We leave this up to the reader as well as the listener to judge on the authenticity of this story.

In a time where sentimentality could not stand in the way of progress, two colts will take it into their hooves to save an old line and keep its hundred ton secret safe from the scrappers torch. But they will soon learn that running a preserved railway is much more difficult than simply clearing the weeds and running trains.

With time of the essence and the scrappers torch an ever looming threat, hop aboard for an express run to adventure!
