Equestria is weak.

They are strong.

Equestria is divided.

They are united.

Equestria is in a civil war.

They are marching to war.

Living in Equestria under a false name and racial identity is one thing. Finding out you're not the only one of your kind stranded here is another... especially when that someone and the element bearers are looking for you.

Being my first attempt at a first-person romantic comedy, this takes a slightly different approach to the concept of being a human stranded in Equestria.

Nearly all the magic in Equestria has been absorbed by Tirek. With his newly acquired power, the demon-centaur is unleashing destruction upon the land. His plans for conquest were just getting started. After Equestria, then Griffinstone, the Dragonlands, and the Changeling hive. All magic on this planet will be his to control.

But, there is hope. The Tree of Harmony gifted a crystalline chest. Only with six keys will it open. With Discord's friendship revelation, they received the final key. All they can do now is hope, hope that whatever is contained inside the chest is enough to stop Tirek.

Soon, they will see the coming of the invincible incarnation of power: the Lion's Sin of Pride, Lord Escanor.

This story takes place during Season 5 of the show.

Out of everypony in Equestria, few have a life as mundane as Guy Pony, a window-washing earth pony with no dreams or aspirations whatsoever. Among his job, his friends, and his life alone, Guy's only area of notable interest lies with the adventures of Twilight Sparkle and her five friends.

Inspired by their heroics in saving Equestria time and time again, Guy eventually decides to take a break from his mundane life and have some fun for once. What better way to do that than by introducing himself as a villain and antagonizing Twilight and Co. to no end?

Turns out, there are a lot of better ways than that, especially when he has little to no knowledge of what being a villain actually entails. But, well, that's what he's going with.

Equestria, the land of happiness and freedom, the land where people are constantly nice to one another, where harmony reigns supreme... for the ponies, at least.

For everyone else? You're treated like an alien most of the time, and when you're not, Equestria will find a way to make it extremely difficult for you. For me, it did just that upon my sudden and forced arrival. The second I wake up, I'm attacked by a group of pony hunters, and I'm just going to guess it was because I'm not exactly a pony, or human as a matter of fact.

Yeah, I'm some type of monster that I didn't even know about; I'm some kind of mix between a ram, a human and death. It looks disgusting as well as a little scary, but now I got to worry about surviving in this weird land.

How will I do that? I haven't the slightest clue...

Ganondorf, King of Thieves, Lord of Darkness, Master of Evil and Wielder of the Triforce of Power, had long since grown thoroughly and completely bored with the path the gods had decreed for his destiny.

Time after time it was always the same, try and unite the Triforce, plunge the world into darkness for a time, search out and then kidnap Princess Zelda, watch his minions be defeated one after another and then finally battle Link for supremacy. Rinse and repeat.

All the while knowing that regardless of winning or losing, that no matter what he did or didn’t do, that in the end everything would end up repeating itself in another time and place afterwards, again, and again and again, in an utterly pointless never ending cycle.

Having decided that enough was finally enough, and refusing to continue to be a simple pawn at the hands of the gods, he vowed he would find a way to escape from his cumbersome destiny, a way to start anew far beyond the meddling grasp of the gods, a way to reach a realm upon which he could be the master of his own fate.

And after years of careful planning he had finally succeeded.

Sure, the fact he had to drag the know-it-all Princess and the green obsessed Hero along for the ride for his plan to work was a minor inconvenience, but he knew that sometimes sacrifices had to be made. And the fact that this new realm apparently decided to turn him and his two unwilling companions into miniature pastel colored ponies upon arrival also wasn’t exactly part of the plan, but he could cope.

After all, that was a negligible price to pay in achieving his deepest wish: freedom.

In this story Ganondorf, having grown sick of following through the motions his destiny placed before him as the eternal bad guy to be defeated time after time, seeks out to escape from his fate by breaking through the void between dimensions and running away from Hyrule to another realm entirely, Equestria, all the while dragging both Link and Zelda along for the ride.

Arriving long before the founding of the country, back before the events of Heart’s Warming Eve and at the highest point of the conflict between the Three Tribes, he and his two new companions will have to deal with a whole new world and it’s wonders and dangers. All the while this new magical world will have to learn to deal with its three new strange inhabitants in kind.

Just a warning: This is NOT a Displaced fic. All three main characters are the actual characters from the Zelda series that have been taken to Equestria due to Ganondorf’s master plan, and not humans turned into them.

Human Stefan and Human turned Sphinx Shezmu of Taremu are now thrust into the world at different times and in different cultures. Though whether or not they know it teaming up is at the least of the worries list when simple things that when brought to the surface under the light of reality, despite how easy it seems to be warped these days, have intriguing to terrifying implications. Just what does harmony mean when put up against free will? What is the price paid by the common when Mythical is a word with as much value as a tree branch in a forest?

This is a mix of both Slice of LIfe and Adventure so be aware of time gaps.

This is more or less an experiment on self-insert fanfiction by having a duo rather than just one person. In this we take on two of the more popular tropes when it comes to MLP. One is HiE self-insert while the other is Death/Rebirth. The main focus however is when reality is brought to the world in which Equestria resides. With the latest seasons and the movie introducing some absolutely bananas concepts when thought about in a realistic fashion. The movie so casually mentions slavery to the point in which beings are bought and sold on the spot with no care to who either party are.  The fact that golden age piracy is also a thing thanks to the movie as well. The show introducing different kingdoms with different sentient species. Now if you do that thing called add reality with these already established concepts the world in which equestria resides is the end of middle ages combined with the wild west and age of exploration with a dash of the industrial age on top and the implications are astounding.

Expect some canon to be tossed in the trash and altered head canon in its place to make the world a bit more real.

Twilight Sparkle has spent months researching chaos magic, developing a new spell to unlock magic nopony has ever experienced before. But when something goes wrong with casting, Twilight finds herself turned into a Draconequus and unable to control her new chaos magic. If she ever wants to be a pony again, there is only one who can help her learn to control her new magic.

Of course, learning from Discord was never going to be simple. And after a while, being a draconequus doesn't seem so bad anyway....
