Pony Joe awakens before the dawn each morning, readies himself for his day, and then walks through Canterlot's cold and silent streets to his doughnut shop.

Life has become pretty mundane for Joe, but as he serves his customers and chats with his regulars he realizes that he has come to rely on that repetition...he relies on it to keep from remembering.

As a casual utterance by a new customer sends Joe into a spiral of haunting memories we learn about his life...and what he must give up if he wishes to move beyond his past.

[On Hiatus so I can finish some of my other projects. Considering this is a very big story for me that's going to see a lot of sequels, it's a project I'm definitely coming back to.]

Sun, lots of sun. Celestia's blessing for all the little colts and fillies in Equestria, but not for one pegasus who finds the sun and nice weather has outstayed its welcome just a little too long. A nap taken in order to pass the boredom is interrupted by a strange visitor in black.

What once started as a day gone bad turns into a journey through Equestria's history, and a tale that many would consider fable turned reality; but perhaps it's been real all along?

A/N: Welcome, one and all, to the first entry in my story arc! What's the name of this story arc?

Well, I'm sure I'll think of one. So far, I'm happy to say the title is this:

This character is based somewhat off my actual Skyrim character, a level sixty-something khajiit named Dar'Jzir (In this his name will be Do'Jzir). Feel free to like and dislike on your opinion and please leave constructive (keyword being constructive) criticism in the comments.

Because I've been asked this about twenty times, updating will be very bloody sporadic. Do not expect constant updates, I simply don't have the time to write that much. Sorry. Also, if you are following this, please for Celestia's sake check up on my blog posts. I use them to ask important questions and the more help I get the faster I can toss chapters out.

A short trip to Canterlot with Rainbow Dash and Applejack is the perfect opportunity for Twilight to test out her new long-distance Teleportation spell. But a nasty cold dashes the hopes of a quick trip, and makes the spell disappear in smoke: instead of arriving in Canterlot, the three find themselves in the nearby Everfree Forest, and discover that their location is not the only thing that went wrong.

While Rainbow has exchanged her wings and tail for a straw blond tail, Applejack has acquired a rainbow tail as well as a pair of strong, blue wings.

While Twilight attempts to find a spell to return the body parts to their rightful owners, the others must attempt to deal with this situation... and with their changing feelings.

With her knowledge of time spells enabling Twilight Sparkle to travel into the far future of Equestria, she contemplates all she has seen, and reveals the true reason for her journey.

The Mane-Event, a popular stage show in Manehattan, has acquired a rare creature they intend to use as part of a new act. Their typical animal handlers prove inadequate for the new job so they invite Equestria's best to be the caretaker-- Fluttershy. Moving to a new city requires the inconvenience of finding a new place to stay, however. What fortune that Trixie, one of the primary acts of the Mane-Event, just so happens to have free space at her apartment.

And then the Element of Kindness lived with the Element of Egotism.

UPDATE: COMPLETE! You may have heard of Pipsqueak. He's a pinto colt, originally from Trottingham, saved Nightmare Night from being abolished seven odd years ago. Know the one I'm talking about? Yes? Good. Since then he's grown into a charming, cultured hedonist who wants to bed near every mare in Ponyville and a good few of the stallions. He has a slender build and some ponies say he has mares' hips, though he feels that those ponies should shut their bloody mouths. His best mate is the gregarious and multi-talented Featherweight, and his other best mate is the stoic trencherpony and excellent cook Chowder.

This is the story of a Friday, and the wee hours of a Saturday. It's a teacher training day, and Pipsqueak and his friends have no school.

In twenty-four hours, a sinister plot to take down a local business is launched, Snips and Snails dabble in the dark magic of Peyuase, a great deal of debauchery occurs, a cocktail of unrivaled destructive power is created and a small fleet of ships are launched! All of this and more, in Pipsqueak's Day Off!
