Dark times lay ahead for the ponies of Equestria. A dark force comes to take their lands and their magic, to leave them all but helpless. Subjugated to life under a tyrant, their only salvation will come in the form of a champion, a champion who wrestles bears for fun. Zangief, the Red Cyclone, is their only hope.

Unfortunately for them, he's playing for the wrong team.

Zangief will be based on all of his best traits with as much personality as I could find from within his quotes. Don't take this story too seriously, it's done for fun. All my information came from the games and comics. LARIAT.

Coco Pommel has the unintentional purpose of getting Rarity to roleplay with her during Heart's Warming Eve. While at first she's stress over her co-worker Rarity reaction, she soon welcomes the situation she got herself into.

Researching the history of Discord's time as ruler of the land, Twilight comes across something strange that piques her interest. Looking further into it, she discovers a piece of information that changes the dynamic of not only her own, but everypony's relationship with the mysterious draconequus.

Discord is utterly bemused by the apparent turn of events. Why in Equestria is everyone suddenly being so nice to him?

A three arced story that begins slowly as partially Comedy and Slice of life and rotates more towards Adventure and Dark in later chapters.

Some school fillies have to deal with school crushes. Others with bullies. Sometimes they have to deal with both. But no filly has ever had to deal with an Evil Tyrant being bound to their shadow and have the power to control their every action. This, of course, seems to be no big deal for Sweetie Belle who seems to even enjoy the stallion's company. Though the feelings aren't mutual. The small filly reminds the old king too much of a filly he used to know... Though it's strange the only place he'd seen her before are in these strange dreams of his. Recollections of a past he can't remember.

Perhaps Sweetie Belle will awake in him that version of himself before he was a Tyrant. Before he was labeled evil. A time from when he was a father. Perhaps she will help him forgive.

It has been 12 years since Tirek was defeated, and all of my friends have gone their separate ways. Applejack still runs Sweet Apple Acres, although now she runs it alone. Rarity now lives in Manehattan and owns one of the most prestigious boutiques in Equestria. Pinkie has roamed the land with Cheese Sandwich spreading their knowledge of partying to all of the world. Twilight is still lives in her palace in Ponyville, but rarely ever leaves.

Fluttershy died a few years ago.

I've even moved on with my life and joined the Wonderbolts after all this time. Life is going great... or at least so I thought.

There is a new evil threatening the land, and it is our job to stop it.

But this is an evil that even we could never have expected. This is an evil I could never hope to defeat.

I look after the farm with little help, and I'm sure you can imagine me doing that. However, I'm not writing to tell you about the farm. I writing to let you know where I am, or at least where I will be. They have found me, and their bloody teeth are gnawing at the door. Maybe I will make it out alive, but I'm sure you'll know if I don't.

A virus destroys Equestrian civilization, and all that remains are the accounts of lucky survivors. Of course, they weren't lucky, nor did they survive very long.

Something I decided to write instead of working on my other fics. No art because there isn't anything that looks like what I want to write.

Chrysalis and her swarm have suffered through much in the last few years. Starving to the point of desperation has pushed them to the brink. But now something far worse than hunger has begun to fester in their caves. A mysterious fungus that infests her subjects brains and drives them mad, is now destroying the already crippled race. With few options remaining, Chrysalis must decide if her pride is worth the lives of her children. She can only hope her enemies would be merciful to them.
