The Conversion Bureau never made any sense anyway, but here are some places where it would have made less sense.
Not necessarily worlds where the ponies would lose the fight - just worlds where conversion wouldn't logically work.

Twilight's first Winter Wrap Up in Ponyville had a rocky start. Things took a turn for the better when she assumed control over the planning and organization, but after a stressful morning and with an all-nighter in front of her, she was afraid it might all be for naught. Luckily Applejack was there and knew Twilight needed a chance to take a break and recharge.

She needed a visit to the Thinkin' Spot.

Rarity has a messed up mane. Scootaloo, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy are there; but none of them help very much.

Ponies meeting and touching the lives of countless people, and sometimes the ponies are the ones who are having their lives changed. Each chapter is a different story, some heartbreaking, some funny, and some heartwarming, it's impossible to tell what the next story will hold.

She agrees to help, but the animatronics aren't expecting a blue alicorn princess to replace last week's guard. Needless to say, they are caught off guard.
