This story is a sequel to Anypony for Doomsday?

Velvet Step is a mostly ordinary earth pony from Canterlot. She dances in the ballet, goes to night clubs, and has the best friends that any pony could ask for.

And then, her bathroom suddenly, inexplicably and incomprehensibly becomes a gateway to another dimension (that's where the "mostly" comes in, you see).

Now, trapped in a different Equestria, her only hopes of returning home lie squarely in the capable professional unlikely-to-wreck-anything hooves of a frustrated princess and a retired king with a penchant for dark magic. Will Velvet conquer the long journeys, dangerous missions, sleepovers and editing mistakes that stand in her way, or will this be her last (mis)step?

Find out by starting with the Prologue below, seriously, you'll be missing context if you don't.
Special thanks to goshhhh for her incredible cover art, and for being able to interpret what I wanted even better than what I myself was capable of.

Special thanks also to Crystal Wishes for allowing me to use her OC — Velvet Step — before she really understood exactly what it was that she was agreeing to.

(Part of the Doomsdayverse)

Nightmare Night. At the witching hour when the clock strikes twelve, Sombra "Pops" Crepúsculo tries desperately to prepare a midnight snack to stop his tummy rumblies so he can sleep.

But when an nth dimensional terror from Beyond (also known as "Out of This Dimension!") comes for him and the rest of Equestria, will he prevail and save everyone? Or will it be the Final Doomsday™?

(It's a comedy, so... we're guessing it probably won't be, but hey! Everyone was surprised by the quality of Equestria Girls, so you never know!)

(We have just been informed that not everyone was surprised by the quality of Equestria Girls, so hey! You really never know!)

(Oh, and perhaps most importantly of all, cover art by goshhhh, as usual!)

All unicorns build doomsday devices!” Those five words were words that Twilight Sparkle never expected to hear next to each other and in that specific order in a sentence.

King Sombra has returned, and upon discovering that Twilight Sparkle has not even considered building a doomsday device, has given her an ultimatum: Either she builds a device that has the sole purpose of destroying the world, or he starts defacing her books.

The clock is ticking: Will Twilight be able to get in touch with her inner mad science and save her imperiled reading material? More importantly, is she really destined to bring about the end of the world? Are unicorns really nothing more than a cosmic reset button, poised to bring a halt to all existence at a moment's notice even in the face of past evidence suggesting that they're not very good at it? Will Twilight succeed where all others have presumably failed? Does she even want to?

Join in as we follow the journey to answer the question on minds the world over: “Anypony for Doomsday?”

Disaster has befallen Equus: Mysterious storms that have begun to drain the land of magic have appeared, and there is no end or solution in sight. Much of Equestria's population — those that could, at least — has retreated to the lands surrounding Canterlot, where a great magical barrier keeps them safe, if only barely. Ponies, griffons, and even changelings do what they can to eke out an existence when even the Princesses seem incapable of saving them.

Using the last of his rapidly diminishing magic, Discord creates dozens of small starships, and a small troop of changelings volunteers rise to the reaches of space in the hope that there may yet be help out there, even if there is none at home.

One of them, Flick, lands on a distant planet and pleads the case of Equus to the inhabitants.

A modiste is like any artist, needing both skill and inspiration in order to work their craft. Rarity, unfortunately, finds herself in possession of only one, and when the normal avenues to awaken her muse fail to produce results, she decides a change of scenery is in order.

Her trip to the coast and the sleepy village of Portside begins as expected, but she rapidly finds herself stumbling into something far more embroiling than she had ever anticipated of her simple holiday.

When a portal is opened between Equestria and Earth, everything goes almost perfectly and the friendship is instant, even if the spatial instabilities prevent the portal from being kept opened for extended periods of time.

Although it’s not possible for people and ponies to readily move through the portal, that same restriction does not apply to data, and the data that travels the most quickly are stories about the multitude of crises that have confronted each world, and the heroes that have stopped those crises time and time again, two of them always coming to the forefront of debates: Equestria’s Rainbow Dash, and Earth’s Sonic the Hedgehog. And always, there is one question that has gone unanswered. A question that will be settled once and for all in the Equestria Grand Prix:

Who is really “the fastest thing alive”?

When his participation in a police action ordered by the Duchess uncovers more than just contraband, Jacoby Flynn finds himself thrust into an unfamiliar role he had not expected to find himself in. Now with a young diamond dog in his care, he is faced with the dual challenges of both looking after a pup he barely knows, and determining exactly why he was being held captive. Was it coincidence? Or was it part of something larger and more sinister?

A story set in the Skitchverse (now with enough entries to have a full HBO season!).

There comes a time in life when a guy just has to buckle down and write the greatest story he has ever written.

That time is not now, and that story is not this one. But hey, we could all use a little silliness in our lives.

Presenting Sensational Serials: Silly, Short Stories for Silly, Short Ponies, a selection of silly serials and short stories showcasing certain someponies in strange, silly, and sometimes shocking situations! (Too much alliteration? I think not!) Starring all kinds of ponies, even the ones nobody really likes or has ever heard of! Some of them even have continuity! Probably!

Inspired in part by SPark’s In which SPark attempts to be slightly less verbose. Only not nearly as good. Tags updated to reflect characters actually featured thus far.

Sixteen hundred years before the redemption of Princess Luna, the newly formed nation of Equestria carved out its place in the world with blood and steel. Seeking to unite all ponies under her banner, Queen Platinum turned her attention to the north, where the griffons made their roosts, and dispatched the mightiest of Equestria’s legions, led by the greatest military mind that pony kind had ever known; General Hurricane.

But not all griffons are the dim-witted barbarians that they are believed to be, and far from an easy victory, Hurricane led her troops into the deadliest battle that she would ever know.

A Skitchverse story.

This story is a sequel to The Other Jake

Shortly after being forced to confront numerous personal demons, life complicates further for Skitch-Sketch when a UFO (unguided falling object) crashes at Sweet Apple Acres.

Weeks after that, it's time to return that object to its owner, the mysterious Jacoby Flynn, and decide if the world outside of Equestria is any more accommodating than Equestria is outside of Ponyville.

Another story in the Skitchverse.
