Although it’s not possible for people and ponies to readily move through the portal, that same restriction does not apply to data, and the data that travels the most quickly are stories about the multitude of crises that have confronted each world, and the heroes that have stopped those crises time and time again, two of them always coming to the forefront of debates: Equestria’s Rainbow Dash, and Earth’s Sonic the Hedgehog. And always, there is one question that has gone unanswered. A question that will be settled once and for all in the Equestria Grand Prix:

In the Archie comics, yes. The setting in the games, however, is Earth (or at least has not been explicitly named).

In the Sonic X series, sonic and friends were brought to earth from another planet/dimension via chaos control, though the planet was never expressly named.
As far as the games go, I stopped really playing them after sonic & knuckles. I played the first sonic advanced, and the first sonic adventure. They just didn't have the same charm anymore.
Then of course we have the huge divide that is the sonic fandom. :P I am expressly more focused on 'old school' sonic, satam and archies comics ect. So naturally, to me, sonic is, was, and forever will be, from Mobius. :3

5457296 It was just a random thought that popped into my head. I am both a Sonic and MLP fan, and I noticed similarities between Shadow and Princess Luna. Shadow's actions were a result of his love for a certain individual we all know, while Luna's were a result of jealousy toward her sister and her own desire to be loved. In both cases, outside forces used those feelings to their advantage, almost ending in the destruction of a planet. In the end, both were able to redeem themselves because of the heroes' actions.

I do have the next chapter partially written, although I might end up rewriting it, but I'm in the middle of another project at the same time and I'm more invested in finishing that one, I'm sorry to say.
However, I also have the rest of this story outlined, so once I figure out how I want the next chapter to progress and get it done, there won't be much more to write. I may also just skip ahead and write the rest of it first, and then worry about tying everything together.

Hey do you remember when you said that It's all but confirmed that Sonic CD is Sonic's fastest well that's not true the sonic from the archie comics admitted that a reality warping speed was as fast as he could go in his base form no super sonic or chaos emeralds not included and if you think about it reality warping speed is faster than braking the sound barrier.
