This is actually a pretty decent Friday morning, and not because of the lack of school for the day. It's easy to notice the magnificent details of your morning; the drizzling grey of the sky that made you sleepy all over again, the mattress you're lying on that you swear is made of clouds, the fluffy blankets causing your enviroment to be comfortably warm and the simple fact that you don't have anything to do for the whole day.

Wait.

Who's leg is draped over your side?

Luna was having a pretty average evening: Some time with her sister, a brief check into a few dreams, eating some hay enchiladas and going off to bed herself.

So why did her lamp start talking all of a sudden? And why is her lamp suddenly retarded?

Twilight and the others have just left a pretty nice restaurant, laughing and talking about a lot of their lives. The Alicorn is thinking about their lives too, unbeknownst to them.

She thinks about how short their lives are compared to her.

Against her will(mostly), Starlight agrees to protect Ponyville when Twilight and her other five friends are busy saving the entire world. The unicorn only agreed to this startling position because she actually believed that she wouldn't be doing any saving immediately.

She didn't think villains could pop out of nowhere, but they did, much to her chagrin. It's up to her to defeat them one by one, with her faithful butler--er, friend Spike and Robin...I mean, Trixie at her side.

After sampling a cupcake with shady origins, Applebloom,Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are sucked through several universes until they stop in one specific yet random world. Here they meet a band of short creatures, a tall wizard, ugly evil creatures and a kind soul who calls himself a 'Hobbit'.

On the way back from Fluttershy's house, Starlight takes notice of a young filly under a tree and soon discovers that she is without any known parents. Starlight wants to take care of the poor orphan, but is uncertain if she has the qualities that it takes to be a 'mother'.
