After a chance encounter with Lyra Heartstrings, Twilight Sparkle finds the lost journal of Starswirl the Bearded. Princess Celestia warns her not to read it, for it was a work that drove him mad. However, it promises to reveal to her a secret that she had obsessed over for years that has powerful magical and philosophical implications, the Meaning of Life.

Even as she starts to learn about friendship, Twilight delves deeper into the secrets of the tome. An ancient being begins showing her visions in her sleep—visions of the secrets of the world.

Can her friendship and her sanity survive discovering the Meaning of Life?

Octavia Melody plays her daughter her favorite lullaby. She is asked about how it came to be, and she recites a tale of love, loss, life and hope as she plays the recording of a time long gone.

The incredibly complex and developed OC, Badass Firestorm Hurricayne, dresses up as the Queen of the Changlings on Nightmare Night. Through a timespace anomaly, magic, no reason at all, she is transported to Earth and becomes Chrysalis, where she terrorizes all of the helpless humans!

A woman gets transported to Equestria. In a strange twist, she's heterosexual. Too bad every pony in Equestria isn't.

The darkness of winter is upon Ponyville. Fluttershy, trying to escape the melancholy of her lone cottage, visits her friend Pinkie Pie. Pinkie is currently busy babysitting Pound and Pumpkin Cake, but does her best to cheer her up. However, she can't help but feel as if there is something dark and sinister stalking the small town. She excuses herself to make a visit to her friend Twilight, who does little to ease her concerns.

When she returns to the Cakes' home, she can't help but feel like there is something terribly, terribly wrong. The air is thick, and the feeling of foreboding unbearable. Little does she know that there is a spiritual storm threatening to consume Ponyville as the last foundations of sanity crumble into the torrential maelstrom.

A hidden storeroom has been uncovered in the Crystal Palace. Inside lay the personal arsenal of the late King Sombra. Princess Celestia entrusts Twilight with cataloging all the magic artifacts, but one object in particular draws Twilight’s attention with an eerie ferocity…

Later, when Twilight finds herself in trouble, it’s up to her friends to venture into the human world without her to try to find a cure, of sorts. Some of the Mane 6 venture into the unknown while the others stay behind. However, it seems the ones who stay behind are the ones in the most peril, as secret societies and ancient conspiracies unravel to challenge the very balance of Equestria.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders are about to have their first ever sleepover in their clubhouse! They are all very excited, even when it turns out that Spike will be joining them as well. They can’t wait to have an entire night by themselves to try to get their cutie marks, but there are other forces at work that night.

What crazy plans will the Cutie Mark Crusaders come up with this time? What will Spike do when he finally gets some alone time with Rarity? What does Rainbow Dash’s bathroom have to do with all this? And why is Rarity upset her little sister has finally gotten her cutie mark?
