Holy crap! This story has officially been awesome! I give you all of my yays! :pinkiehappy:

:moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache:

Also :yay::yay::yay::yay: Also Sequel??? Please :fluttershysad:

This was a great story. Also, the chapter berfore this really felt like the end of 3:10 to Yuma.

2599099 Much obliged :moustache: And will there be more? This story is great and it'll suck when it ends! I read another Daring Doo fanfic and it just wasn't the same as this one. This one had... I can't really put it in words but it was something special, and I try to find similar stories on this website, but no dice... You really need more views/likes. It's funny how I hate long stories and reading in general. But I want this story to just keep going. Oh, and one more thing before I end up preaching a paragraph. When I read, my mind makes and automatic movie while I trail along, not sure if that happens to y'all, but it does to me and when I read the gun fights, the romance, and everything in between, it's like I was watching a movie.

2599725 Thanks... though it has to come to an end at some point :raritycry:, it is really something special, and like you said "It's like a movie when you read it":rainbowkiss: truly a spectacular thing to keep one's imagination working:raritywink:

2600375 Why'd you thank me? You're the one who made this masterpiece! Hopefully, (and its to your own will) you'll create more stories similar to this (or at least a continuation). Trust me when I say this, it is truly difficult to find a good story. This story hit the target dead-center, and then cut the arrow in half with another. Keep up the great work, man.

2600509 I'm just saying thank you because it's good manners, that and I like to thank people for giving a positive review. I've written stuff that technically is an over night success but I usually catch hell from the critics who begin nit picking. Oh and I'm in the process of writing a story right now called 'Titans of war' basically an M1 Abram and a T90 are accidentally transported to Equestria and an all out tank battle ensues, I'll send you a link when it gets approved. You might like it if your into action and what not. It doesn't really have a romance to it but it's filled with drama

2600614 Sounds good. Gah! I twitch and girt my teeth to see "Complete" printed in the maker next to the "Mature * Sex" Tags.... But, it had to end sometime.

2601075 What part are you at anyway?

2602578 Oh, Sadly, Finished. Started reading Friday at around 4:30 p.m and stopped around 3:40 a.m on Saturday. Starting read again at around 1:00 p.m and stopped at 9:30 p.m at the "Dealing with the Devil" chapter. Finished on Sunday when you released the last chapters.

Oh, and this song reminds me of John, a lot...

My first ever western fic, and I have to say that this was an amazing story. As for the possible sequel, I would suggest that you use a story arc similar to that of the film Unforgiving, staring with Clint Eastwood.

2604211 Yeah, I LOVE Marty Robbins, first song I heard from him was El Paso but I figured him out when I listened to Big Iron while playing Fallout New Vagas

2604946 Somehow... you kind of read my mind... you... you are probably psychic or something...

2606937 Yes! Yes! Yes! Fallout games a freaking great! The music when you'd wake to Doc Mitchell plays in my head when ever I hear the name, "Fallout". Red Dead Redemption is also a great game and I'm happy you referenced it in this story. The Rolling Block is my favorite sniper in that game. The Carcano is over-rated. Still, I am going to miss this story. I would just take a Duster with holsters, straps and a black leather cowboy hat to school... Speaking of school, my mind was a-balzin' with ideas for how Daring and John would continue. Spaced out so bad that in my 8th period, a girl was standing in front of me with her... ahem... "Flank" sticking practically in my face and I just stared at it while in La-La-Land unaware. I blushed when people noticed me and called me out.
Anyways, back to topic, this story has so much bottled potential... Damn it, I preached a paragraph again...

2607223 So anyway, here's a link to my newest story if you reckon you'll want to read it. It won't be as long, probably 10-20 thousand but it'll be good

2640563>>2644885 Thank you, it makes me smile when I get home and see that people like this story even if it wasn't all that popular, so here have a chilled out spike:moustache:

2649501 Because he's an awesome badguy. I know, I like him too

2668760 Yeah... made me think about him too, except I live in Canada so I can't really just up and go visit his grave, and yeah, I had loosely based his character on Billy the Kid, except I made him a little more of a good person rather than an outlaw

You used the Lone Ranger from the radio series as inspiration I can tell. This article proves my point.

2691894 Actually, truth be told, I never even heard a that guy until you showed me that. I just figured 'He's a ranger, and he used to travel alone' that and I wanted someone like 'Walker Texas Ranger' Chuck Norris is sooo awesome...

2682852 Unfortunately no, but I did see 'The undefeated'

The sun is peaking out over the mountain,
it's shining in a special way
on this our wedding day,
the mission bells will ring
down in the valley
to tell the world that you are mine, my love

Daring, Daring as we say I do
bless us Daring for I waited my life for you

And as the sun goes down
over the mountain,
the stars bright light our trail tonight,
as we ride into the night
in all the west I'll be
the happiest cowboy

For on this day
you gave me all your love
yes on this day you gave me all your love

ONE OF THE FAHKING BEST FAHKING STORIES I HAVE EVER FAHKING READ FAHK!!!

2701198 You're like a poet or something... that's damn good my friend, damn good

That was EPIC! I do think you should have given Bear Junior the nickname BJ though, but that is just my opinion.

awesome story read it about 5 times:pinkiehappy:

:pinkiegasp: PLEASE make a sequel to this! Oh, and if you ever need a proofreader, I would like to offer to you my services. I want any possible sequel to be as perfect as possible and I would love to help out in any way that I can. I think I enjoyed this story a bit too much. I don't know why, but I loved it a ton. I think it's because of the fact that Daring is like an Indiana Jones, that the story was a mix of ponies, the Alamo, and 3:10 to Yuma, and so many other reasons that I can't name them all. Oh my, I really look forward to reading more by you in the future. Please, keep up the fantastic writing!

2936796 Thanks, I just had a late night... problem solving, with a gun (No I didn't shoot anyone or nothing, the gun acted as a peacekeeper) and I decided "Hey, I haven't been on Fimfiction in a while, let's see what's new" and I read all you comments and was thinking "Wow... this guy/gal, really really really REALLY, liked this story."

2937752
Yeah, I really did. I'm sorry about the wall of comments. I just...this story had something in it that just made my heart race. I would love to be an editor if you decide to make a sequel.

2701198
Damn dude....
good stuff

2937752
I wish stayed up when I should've been doing homework to read this. I was really deeply moved by this story. You know that you're reading something powerful when it has your feelings wrapped it's thumb.
Like SolidFire said, if you ever need a proof reader, let me know. There were only a few simple spelling errors throughout the story, but since I loved reading it anyways, I wouldn't have minded proof reading it.

I also liked what I assumed to be a Fluttershy reference (Posey). I'm assuming she's Fluttershy's great-great (some more greats) grandmother or something.

Either way, I loved it, and I hope to read more of your stuff whenever I have time.
Thanks for the ride ;)

3255549 Thanks. I like to sit back and write stories that stay under the radar. That way I have less people hating on me for simple things, so thank you. (In fluent Russian accent) You make me smile, tee-hee.

3258756
:rainbowkiss:
(btw I have no idea why it says "I wish staying". I don't remember typing "wish" I'm not illiterate.
pls halp :I)

Have I mentioned this needs a sequel?

3411257 I think so, you and several other people.

3413542

well im mentioning it again just incase

3413741 Don't worry about it. I loved writing this story. There wasn't so many people... any people, telling me that I'm a terrible author and that I should delete my account and never write again... yeah my last story I published really got hit hard by the assholes and pussies of the world... I loved that speech

3413766

there will always be somebody

Wow this story had me hooked from start to finish

I enjoyed this a lot.

4207233 Nah, it was a typo. My keyboard was a bit wonky and if I didn't pay strenuous attention, stuff like that would happen. Meant to write 1878, but it came out 1978. I fixed it though. Weird, I didn't think after a year that people would dig up these old stories. Still one of my favorite stories that I wrote.

4210217 I had it on my read-later list for some time. Just hadn't gotten around to reading it until now.

4223644 Well... yes and no. Yes there was always a partnership but not really an intimate-like relationship. It was a really fun story because neither of the characters were naive to the other they just never saw one another as a lover until later on when Daring started feeling stuff towards John when he started conversing more with Brixie than her.

Scrolling through my list of favorites and found this one as the first one I've ever favorited... close to a year ago I reckon? Almost. It's April. "Dearly Beloved" on May... damn, I remember finishing this story... like if it were yestarday. Not sure if you still remember me, Trigger Finger, and I see a bunch'a new comments on this story. Glad to see my favorite wild west story is still gettin' some attention. You did a helluva job on this one, man. Just though I'd give this story one more comment. Thanks for writing this, gave me something to do a year ago.

4266231 Of course I remember you, though you used to have a picture with the pony in a duster coat. You told me that you didn't really feel like having an account but you said this story was sooo good, that you needed to make an account just to tell me how good it was... I think... my memory isn't the sharpest these days but I think that was you, right?

4270406 Bingo, and don't worry yourself. Your memory is just fine. :moustache:

4270841 Perhaps not. For over a month, every two or three days I'd think I was running low on shotgun shells so I'd go buy a couple boxes, but I wouldn't put them away, I'd just push the bag aside in my room before going for a nap. Then one day I decided to clean my room and found dozens of boxes of shotgun ammunition, mostly expensive high quality stuff, 000buckshot, magnum slugs, Hornady slugs, high impact slugs, 00buckshot magnum, heavy-duty turkey load, Hornady's new 4 shot coyote magnum load... just oodles of shotgun shells... And I was like: OH! Yeaaaaaahhhhhh... right... uhm... that's where the $2000 went... I forgot.
Kind of a big forget. But it makes for a funny story, no?

4280382 That's pretty comical! Sucks those 2k didn't go towards something intended, but hey... I'd say that tier ammo is money well spent. And like I said, least most, if not all, of your brain is still functioning well.

“So what happens next…”

Clop.

2600375 one of the best stories I've read on this site.
*claps hands* good job sir 10/10
