Haha, okay, kidding about the demanding part, but yes, a sequel would be nice. Anyhow, seeing as how you composed this well, in class, I suppose, it's pretty well written, but I'd say the concept of departing and being confronted by somepony like Pinkie Pie is a little overused, but nevertheless, your writing style is great.

Well, seeing as how your display avatar / picture / whatchamacallit thingy is Apple Bloom, you might as well get your cutie mark in writing.

If you write a sequel, that is.

1861814 Thank you so much for taking the time to review my story! I suppose the concept is a little cliche, now that you mention it. Just for clarification, I didn't actually write this in class, just got the idea in class when I noticed that following one's dreams vs. loyalty to one's friends is a fairly common theme in literature. This was my little variation on that theme.
