Princess Luna has returned to the Nightmare Night celebration and wishes everypony to have a good time. Unfortunately, nopony seems to want to be around her. It's only when she explains her concerns to Twilight Sparkle that she finds out the real reason why this is happening.
Not even the best dentist in all of Equestria will find it easy to freshen up the breath of a pony who hasn't brushed their teeth in 1000 years.
Done for Oneshotober, even though this idea's been floating around in my head for *way* longer than that.

I'm pretty sure melting diamond would just turn it into liquid carbon. So if it solidified again, there'd be no guarantee that it would still have the cube-like molecular structure that gives diamonds their unique properties.

Luna...Derpy...Colgate/Minuette...is there anything this story doesn't have? Other than a scene involving Luna being given dental care, not much. I'm not too sad I didn't get that scene though. It would not have been pretty. This was quite a fun little read

Comedy/Random... Setting aside that I'm not much into comedy, what to say about such a story, anyway?
Not at the same level as The Moon Rises by all means. Too many lacking informations, random structure (in comparison), strange setup....
Yet somehow entertaining.

In air, diamond ignites at ~900 degrees centigrade, depending upon the air density, and available oxygen. So yeah! You're more likely to set fire to your diamond than you are to melt it. (Which is kinda badass imo.)
However, Rarity would go ballistic if you set fire to a diamond.

I will admit, it was a bit of a rushed job. Unfortunately, I tend to do that with stories that I begin writing and then realize that I don't really have enough ideas to keep it drawn out for an extended period of time. It's like I suddenly forget not really how to write, but how to flow ideas and come up with them on a fly. It happens every once in a while, and this was sorta one of those times.
I get what you're saying, and I agree with you 100 percent. Thanks for your input, friend. I'll keep that in mind with my future endeavors.
