Lol "dues to society". Maybe if embezzling, bailouts, corruption, and exportation of jobs to countries with less human rights and lower wages are good for society I guess.
Taxes being a thing in Equestria sounds just as unlikely as murder does there. Love stories like these that remember the world of MLP is a lot more innocent.
