Thank you. I try not to write clop-without-purpose. I also think that it's a sine qua non of TCB stories that the ending should be bittersweet.
This is actually the first TCB story I've read; I've been shying away from the subject of it, but I'll likely read more because of this. I really enjoyed this for the direction you took it and the excellent writing you applied to the story. I know it's a bit generic to say, but wow, very well done.
I am a bit surprised by the level of downvotes, which I'm guessing are TCB fans trying to keep clop out of the genre (or something like that). A shame, really. This story deserves a much less prejudiced evaluation (assuming I'm right).
Oh yeah, one more thing: Principality? How about Princessipality? And now, I will run away.

I think rather that some of the downvotes are from people who just don't like The TCB at all. Or maybe people who didn't like the story. In any case, I'm glad you liked my story, and that you will read more. Though I'm sure you will find some that don't fit your views, I urge you to push past them.
4580420 Thanks for your response. I suppose I'll find out what you mean by not fitting my views, but conflict being the heart of a good story (usually), I don't think I'll have too much trouble.
I'm hopeful at finding some stories with depth and skill to them. If you have any recommendations to toss my way, I'd appreciate them.

I like 27 Ounces and The Taste of Grass by Chatoyance; they're the most complete, but to a greater or lesser degree, there's some cringe-y criticisms of the universe and humanity.
Odd how many down votes there are, there really isn't anything that sticks out to us as "bad", at least not enough for a down vote.

I can't say I agree with his viewpoint that he would never gain feelings for Honeydew. If done right I'm sure they could build a very healthy and loving relationship,but the obsession over freedom has got to go as well as the intent to pretend.
