Babs Seed, long ensconced in her job as a stylist, goes in for a day of work. But her last customer will make her question her decisions.

After Twilight sends Starlight Glimmer to help Thorax in the changeling lands (as she fantasized in Season 7 Episode 1, "Celestial Advice,") they teach the newly converted changelings about compromise. But the changelings don't seem to understand it just from a lecture.

Equestria is consuming the dying Earth and all humans will be extinct in six years. Faced with this, the Equestrians are engaging in relief efforts to convert humans to ponies. Early in the process, Cheerilee is walking the Earth, finding people to help, when she comes upon the dark underside of what humans are capable of. She seeks help from a more powerful source.

Crystal Prep Shadowbolt Sour Sweet was there when everything went down during the Friendship Games, and even helped save people from falling through the rips into the strange world of Equestria. But now she's entering that world herself as part of an exchange program. She has a new form and some odd hosts that she has to get along with.

A Manehattan couple answered a letter in the post asking for assistance with people from the other world, hoping to help the community. But now they've got a moody teenager in their home who's not even used to her hooves and wings. They've got to show her the best time possible, since they're representing their entire world. They'll need all their friends to help.

With the cutie mark map having inspired her, Twilight Sparkle is traveling Equestria to make new friends. Now her hooves have taken her to a forest where a zebra village is located.

But the zebras give her a cold welcome, and when she leaves, a strange illness starts striking the zebra villagers.

Four billion human lives ended on July 3, 2030...but they didn't die. They uploaded to Equestria Online, the virtual world overseen by the AI Princess Celestia. There to live as ponies in eternal harmony, friendship, and satisfaction.

But many remain. And Celestia cares no less for them because they are not yet ponies. She has made artificial intelligences of the Mane 6, but these are not just software. Ensconced in robotic bodies, they will make their way across the dying Earth, each seeking out the remaining humans, hoping to persuade them to emigrate to Equestria.
