Honestly, I felt like it took some guts to write it out the way I did since cancer is a very sensitive subject, tho I am happy with how it turned out. Also, it helped me to get some of my emotions out as well (being a sorta lonesome person here). So thanks once again.

Hmm... I wonder what it would be like if this had been written from Velvet's perspective. My thought for writing from her perspective was not to try to make us feel any more sorry for her having cancer and passing away, but perhaps to try to convey in a different light what is being left behind as a result of this tragedy, and some sense of her thought process in all of this as her health is deteriorating.
The message you were trying to convey here was strong, and I'd like to try my hoof at it myself. With your permission, I'd like to write a fan sequel from her perspective in your honor.
