Okay, this is a good story, but it felt a bit rushed and I noticed a few grammar mistakes. A beta reader could e helpful. However, I want to restate this was a good story.

You left a lot of unanswered questions with this tale.
I kinda like that. ;) Real life rarely gives us all we'd like to know. Some very good small character moments peek out, such as Dash getting a bit gaga over the foal. This is one of the signs (among others) I've seen that shows your steady improvement as a writer.

Although, the plot is vague, which is clear as day, and some things left unanswered, the direction of the story is very good in my opinion. Maybe a sequel soon which can add a bit of an aftermath and a bit more explanation to the baby's father (unless I'm just assuming that and the baby just appears somehow)? All in all, I liked the story and gave me the feels just a tad bit. xD
