He can learn magic. Huh... But how fast can he learn it. After all Dev is going from I need more mana to saying something like Lightning bolt! It'll probably take time to learn any magic he might come across. Or he'll learn it quickly because of how excited he was about finding out he can use it. The colour changes and shifts from bold to plain are too frequent, and a touch disorienting because of it.

General prose for actions and descriptions tends to be plain text, thoughts tend to be italics if they're not delimited by single quotes 'like this' and color changing tends to not be done very often due to a tradition of colored ink being more expensive. For example, many Bibles use red text for direct quotes from Jesus.
Color changing in text tends to come off as gimmicky and amateurish, and folks who are color blind may not be able to appreciate the aesthetic decision.
7472382 I tried using Italics in other things I've worked on. People tend to complain more on that than colored text. I'll think about it though.

Wow, Celestia is kind of a controlling bitch here. I understand being a protective sovereign but he should start looking for an exit soon, she has zero respect for him as a sapient being. He is powerless and has committed no crime, other than not being a pony, and she is constantly threatening him with inprisonment except when it benefits her, and imposes restrictions on him that no one else has? Yeah that's bullshit. I understand him going along with it for now while she holds all the cards but he needs to get out of there or change the balance here somewhat.
Wonder how the EOH would feel knowing she wants to control there lives to this degree?

I didn't think putting in each day of him getting up, doing some exercise, going to Rarity and lifting a string for some odd hours would be entertaining. Perhaps I should've put that it's been one week since his first lesson with Rarity, sorry about that.
7924335 it would clear some confusion, cause it goes from day one, to waking up a week later, but all we see is him waking up, and its almost as if he healed over night. you don't have to do every day. but a summary of sorts, inner monologue maybe?
