There is quite a few problems with this fic like the pace at witch the story is progressing and the romance and other stuff, that being said I don't think this is a bad story it just needs improvement,
For example if you want there to be a deep and genuine relationship between Chris and some other pony then they shouldn't become an item within a couple days that's not how relationships work.

Not all maintainers rate getting to qualify for a side arm, but plenty of Marines have shot handguns without qualifying. Just because your not qualified to shoot one through the corps, dosnt mean you can't own a personal one or go to a shooting range with a friend like I did once.

Just finished reading this and I love it. Big fan of Human in Equestria stories so it's great to find a good one. The romance stuff is rushed but it's a comedy so obviously it's meant to come across as bizarre by human standards.
I love that you came up with a decent reason for not having him talk about the show while still having his presence cause changes from the show. Way too many HiE stories are afraid to mess with canon events so it's great to see someone putting in so much effort into an original story instead of just relying on what happened in the show but also not completely ignoring it.
I look forward to the next one.
Won't him calling Rachel "Rarah" cause some confusion when you get to the end of the season 5 timeline?
