The blast of pure love that Shining Armor and Princess Cadence created to defeat the changelings had an unintended side effect: it brought in a blue hedgehog and a two-tailed fox who had just finished defeating their enemy Eggman with the help of their "classic" selves. While Rainbow Dash and Sonic race to see who's the fastest thing alive, Twilight Sparkle and Tails try and find out how the heck a gateway opened up between their worlds. Unbeknownst to our heroes, Dr. Eggman has escaped his exile with the help of none other than Doctor Whooves. Eggman plans to destroy Sonic once and for all. But has Eggman unleashed something he can't control once again? Or will he finally learn the error of his ways?

Okay then. I'm impressed. I only found two problems. One, it's "MileS" with an "S", next, Rarity is WHITE, not gray. That about sums it up. A word of suggestion to the author. Twilight seem to be a little too acceptive to two strange creatures in her home. And you made Tails sounded like a show off. So you may want to revise this chapter.
Also, will Shadow appear in this story?
A good race, I especially liked you pointing out Sonic's ability to run over water considering how fast he can go.
However, I'll be honest -- I'm a touch sad you chose to make it so that he actually won. I was actually hoping you'd make it a tie; out of all the FiMxSonic stories I've read, only one other has made this inevitable race a tie, and it was refreshing. But this is nothing more than a personal preference (perhaps you can have Dash win the rematch?), so it really doesn't matter.
Either way, it's very well written, and I enjoyed it.

I've never actually played any of the modern Sonic games, though, and that means I'm reading all their voices just like from the 90's "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" series. So I'm now waiting for Chili Dogs, "PINGAS", and "THAT'S NO GOOD".
