Sonic had never really been able to let go of his past and as such kept it hidden from his friends, this has now come back to destroy his trust with them and when Sonic is whisked away to another world, alongside some 'special help' he is able to let go of his past for a while... but the demons and evils that this world holds with his new friends in this world prove that no that matter where he goes, secrets create problems and with his new friends who want to teach him the magic of friendship that sentiment is made all too true by their past as well.

It's a tragically comedic romantic crossover adventure with gore in an alternate universe.
The more tags you have, the higher the likelihood that you have no idea what you're actually writing and are just putting on all tags possible.
The grammar in the description is, while not the worst, somehow incredibly clunky, making reading it a chore. I can only presume that the story is like this too. If it isn't, fix the description's grammar.
And that's not even getting into the subject matter. "Alternate Universe" is often used to mess up canon to the extreme, and what I see doesn't make me hopeful.
Also, everyone and their grandmother has heard of these types of things. Nothing but warnings and prophecies of despair and stuff.
You threw me for a loop with the first chapter.

I have checked out your profile and you have the same issue on Forbidden Love,which is a; Dark Adventure, which is random, romantic and Sad, hm, not trying it seem as though you are hypocritical, just trying to find evidence to support your claim with the mindset of following in your example, which not all of your stories have this problem, it's just specifically 'Forbidden Love'.
Also, this story most of the tags i placed on the story, it is tragic and causes many of the characters much heartbreak, for reasons apparent in the Sonic comics and specifically for the main six, because they left their dimension for 5 or 2 years I'm still unclear on that after season 6. Additionally this all does take place in alternative universes and dimensions, specifically speaking, this takes place for the Sonic characters in a universe where Silver is logically canonized, additionally I fused aspects of Fleetway, Archie comics and the games into one stories, alongside a bit of Sonic Underground... this was my attempt to rationalize the stories of Sonic that all took place in different universes and combine them into one.
Additionally most Fanfiction, for better or for worse specifically doesn't focus on Chronological timings or specific events that occur... 'My little Dashie' , 'Rainbow Factory' and even 'Lullaby for a princess are all not specifically canonized, though do those get a pass simply because they state alternative universe? Most of your stories aren't canonized, M.A Larson never canonized your stories so wouldn't that also be screwing with canon?

And, about your tagging of this story (which I see you've fixed somewhat) the tragedy isn't a problem. It's the comedy tag that is. People misuse the hell out of the comedy tag and I have no idea why. Comedy stories are supposed to be there specifically to make people laugh. This story, clearly, is not meant to do that.

Also, using Rainbow Factory as an example to prove your point? There are dozens of better fics you could use. The only reason Rainbow Factory took off in the first place was because it was new and interesting. Now, the only thing protecting it from a wave of scorn is nostalgia, because it's just not a good fanfic. The plot is contrived ant the characterisation of Rainbow Dash? Out the window. Rainbow Factory messes up canon to the extreme as well, I've never heard of Lullaby for a Princess, and, as far as I can see, My Little Dashie is only connected to the MLP universe by a name. Either way, the examples you brought up are just as much of a mess as your fic.
Just because your story hasn't been canonized doesn't mean it can't have the same feel as the canon universe, and lock well with it. My stories (I'll admit it) intentionally screw with canon for a comedic effect, but you have no such excuse.

How am I supposed to know you did the specifics, there is no indication of that anywhere, regardless if you were one who was keen on grammar etc, I said 'most' of fanfiction doesn't focus on chronological events, true many do focus on a specific episode etc, but i guess what I mean is that they don't base them off the show or even go 100% with the chronological order.
Like 'Rainbow Factory', I think it's called 'Allgrezza'/ the one with Octavia and Vinyl, sorry couldn't think of it at the time or 'fallout:equestria, those don't follow a timeline and yet are some of the best fanfiction around.
Also Read the actual story before saying my fic is a mess, maybe you could find something you like, but just like your accusing me of doing, you're also making assumptions on my work, maybe if you read it and pointed out legitimate flaws with the work rather than this debate on the description and tags " you'd be a bit more credible".????
