As well, nopony will know that he is the one changing them, and they won't know why the change happened, though, dependent on the change, it may or may not have them react to it. Like the naked one I described? They would react to it. If somepony were told to want to be naked though, they would not react so poorly

I vote for Button to write that he will have the knowledge of how to overthrow the powers of those who manufactured this item, if there are any, coupled with the knowledge of how to overthrow any government. Also, since this is a clopfic, whenever he fucks someone, he gains whatever and how much knowledge they have that he wants.

6779192 Possible, yes. But trying to think of it somewhat from Button's point of view, not ours. At this point, he'd want to punish them more than that, and I doubt he'd think clear enough for that... yet.

Maybe he could ask for any time they bully him, they want to do that less and less, and the book could interpret that in a sexual manner- IE it would be unintentional at that point by Button, and that could double as a lesson for Button to be specific about his wishes.
Due to conversation with a friend, just came up with perfect idea. Writing: "I want some female friends, ones to both comfort me for my loss, and stand up to those mean girls on even footing." ... only for it to take 'some female friends' as turning his male friends female.

Liking this story so far! The grammar is good and has a nice flow to it. The only thing that bothered me was seeing people commenting and arguing with each other. But whatchu gonna do :p
Anyways, from what I read am I to understand that some are unsympathetic towards his mothers death, or maybe that since dying from old age is such a rare thing that people don't know how to give condolences...?
If so than I propose he ask for "everyone at school to feel sorry for him and to want to help him in any way possible," if you catch my drift ;)

Interesting setup, and I've always loved the premise of a book which controls reality.
I also appreciate that you're making its power limited to start, so there can be a sense of gradually-amplifying intensity and character development from Button.

Button is now convinced the book works. Good. Now is a good time to step up with the commands I believe, and button seems to need some comfort from somepony. How about a night with Cheerilee? Nothing sexual has to happen, he just needs somepony for comfort, maybe to help take care of things like cooking since pizza every night isn't good and i'm not sure if he actually can cook.

Having the bullies become as 'nice' as Diamond was that day... on a common basis, even Silver becoming that nice. And not only to him either. (Only subtle thing I can think of for the time being, at least till the book grows in power.)
Hmm, something that lay ground work for later, slow progression is the name of this game. I can imagine button wanting to know why Diamond did as she did, and her blushing.
I suggest using the book to have Diamond Tiara (and might ass will have silver spoon while we're at it) to kind and honest with Button.
Button can then hopeful careful broach subjects, be interesting what happens.
Well, Button is probably going to want to pursue Diamond, after that kiss. I'm going to second 6783672's suggestion, to have them be nice to him again and maybe invite him to something they're doing. Alternatively, perhaps Button has a crush already with someone else? I think it'd be good if in the next chapter, we see a variety of problems he might be facing in his life, so we have multiple good choices. Right now there's not a lot of different paths to choose, because we're lacking information.
Some possibilities could be: Button fails/already failed a test due to the turmoil in his life, so he uses the Book to make Cheerilee give him a better score which leads to something developing between the two (especially since the Book might have its own ways of carrying out decrees unless Button is specific). Another could be that he makes Twilight help him with a research project.
Does Button have a job right now? Perhaps one of his coworkers is pretty.
These references have got me wondering, this is non-EQG, right?
I'm also curious, what sort of anthro are we talking? Pony-colored skin, or fur? Ears, noses, tails? Wings and horns?

Button is still in school, his senior year, so he has no job, and this is supposed to be regular old Equestria.
Just to clarify, before I suggest things for this chapter, can he only add one entry per day, or can he just go wild? Because I like what 6782811 said here, and judging from the way he talked to Cheerilee in this chapter, I think he should have a hard time talking to girls, and thus use the book to get a "confidence boost" either mid date or afterwards.
