If you're interested, I'd like to point out how this explains several things in the FIM universe.
1. Any case of one pony being able to do things others can't is due to how they've chosen to employ the magic given to them by friends. This is how Pegasi achieve the ability to walk on clouds and leave trails behind them when they fly, as well a Pinkie's physics breaking.
2. This is why unicorn's don't teleport everywhere, as it takes up a fair amount of the finite magic in the air and there's often not enough magic to telepart. (Remember, Ditzy said magic was generated by acts of friendship, not it's mere existence.)
If any of you have any questions about how magic in this story works, or feel something is unclear, feel free to point it out and I will be sure that it is clarified in later chapters. Hope you're enjoying the story.

Good news two guys reading this: It may not be on hiatus much longer. I've gotten some help and have formed some great ideas for next few chapters, so should be able to write another chapter soon.
yay, hateful sleeping pill. i also like that idea of magic, although there are a few holes, such as twilight's outburst at her entrance exam. i mean, would there really be that much friendship in that place? or do they cart it in via containers of sorts? or a final or, did twilight drag in friendship from a much larger area than normal?
otherwise to the story, you have a lot of exposition filler. i like it. faved

I like t think it had something to do with the sonic rain boom. It wasn't specifically an act of friendship but it connected them in a meaningful way, even if they didn't know it at the time. Anywho, that took of exposition so there should be some actual story ready soon

Next chapter took longer than expected (I'm easily distracted) but it'll be out my midnight Friday. (Pacific Standard Time.) I could honestly be putting out a new chapter every two days if i didn't procrastinate so much.
EDIT: It's out. It's a bit rushed but I beat my deadline by 15 minutes. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this one, I really just wrote as I thought and I'm not sure a riot was the way to go. Whatever, it's out now. Hopefully you'll enjoy.
