That’s good to hear that it was nothing serious, though I wish them well, even though you don’t exactly have a way to tell them.

I did tell Spike about our letters and plan to show him sending this one. As I expected, he finds this whole thing really far-fetched and is even reluctant about reading your letter, but do give him time; I’m sure he’ll come around to it sooner than later.

Lastly, thanks for the calendar. I find it very interesting how specific and deliberate your calendar looks. We base our calendar and the seasons off the lunar cycle, though I doubt yours works like that. Could you elaborate a bit further about how your calendar and seasons work on your world in your next letter?

Lunar calendar eh? That's nifty. China used to use a lunar calendar at some point if memory serves, hence Chinese New year holidays.

Well yeah, they have been known to refer to "moons" in the show. (One notable one is the length of time between cycles for the mirror portal, specifically "thirty moons", which was generally interpreted as 2.5 years.)

I am fairly confident that slavery on the TV show was tamed due to the children.

They couldn't exactly show whipped and beaten ponies on a TV show that has never shown blood of any sort.
