Twilight,
Now that you say it, I am strangely underwhelmed by your explanation for daytime and nighttime. I do have to say that ponies manually controlling their own weather sounds really nifty, although it would just sound like just another thing to do back on our world (though there are plenty of people here who have plenty of time on their hands). Eh, scratch that.
Also, they do make horror stories and books for children on our world. I know you're not asking for them, but I have a couple of R.L. Stine books I've had in my closet for the better part of forever that I'm willing to part with for you and/or Spike to read. Also, Spike, I personally haven't read many comics for years now, but we certainly have superhero movies up the wazoo. I can pick you up a few issues on my way home from class; there's a comic book and gaming store en route to and from class, and they always have good selections.
I am probably going to be in bed by the time I send this letter, so I'll talk to both of you in the morning.
Toby
