"Hold up," Applejack said, hopping cheerfully off the bed and trotting to the bathroom. Returning moments later with a white towel which she dropped next to him.

"Oh... the towel? You sure?" he asked.

Applejack merely sniggered. "It's your house, dummy. That'd be your towel."

"Oh right," he responded, his mind clearly not registering anything normal.

This was my favorite part! :rainbowlaugh:

I feel for Brae, when you start out it's difficult to tell the difference between love and lust. I have chased a few women thinking "this time it's real, She's the one." only to have regrets later because I lacked the feelings that she had for me. So I feel for brae cuz I at least never had to deal with those emotions being attached to family. Overall though this hit a little too close to home for me not to remember a few painful memories.
Hope there's a sequel where things turn out well. Or at least better than experience would have me believe.

Glad you enjoyed it, I can honestly say that the idea was based off personal stuff. (Minus the cousins thing. Which is probably the reason why I have this many dvs) That which occurs in our own lives is transferred to whatever footprint we leave behind.

Not that incest is something to be viewed lightly either, but I thought why not let out a few controversial demons. :derpytongue2:

Always fun to add a bit of humor into... said situations. Glad you enjoyed it

Ponies have 64 chromosomes compared to humans' 46.

Keeping that in mind, the stigma might not be as strong for ponies, as the risk of defects is much lower.

Of course, and scientifically speaking it makes sense. However, when you humanize a character (Not anthropomorphic) we tend to add all the morals and stigmas that would affect us as a race. Including incest. So whether or not it has less of an effect we still read it and view it as wrong... inherently.

Although that was an interesting fact none the less.

Story was nice. But one thing, the big guy's name is Trouble Shoes, not Trouble Hooves. Just thought I'd let ya know.

Oh... shit.... thanks

No worries yo. I sometimes get names mixed up myself. Usually though my difficulties come in saying names. I have this weird thing where I keep calling Sunset Shimmer Sunshet Simmer in speech.:twilightblush:

You know... That kind of sounds like it at least makes sense... Although I call my appendages thingers and fumbs from time to time

wet manes does wonders

Understood, though it could still be used as a justification as to why those feelings are irrelevant. When you get down to it, no matter how much we humanize and add human-like traits to the characters, they are still, at a base level, different from us.

Though, your mileage may vary.

. . . :applejackunsure: Huh? What's this doing in the Rule 63 group?

6090524
After reading over the group rules I thought I had left it aside. Guess I added it by mistake.

6081052 the stigma surrounding cousins is more of an american thing tho. In germany at least, nobody cares about that. Its actually quite funny to read all the stories where characters make a huge fuss about it, while it actually is pretty harmless.

Where I'm from, South Africa. We've adopted many of the cultural norms from the US. Our society, our view of right and wrong, etc. Because of this, the stigma stretches to this part of the world as well. However, the opinions of a nation does not inherently change the opinions of an individual. I wrote this story not because I thought it was wrong or right, but because the feelings that one bares for another can sometimes cross the boundaries of what we perceive to be normal.

Well that was cute.

... Think i just came... :trollestia:

6090524 hey if your ok with it what is your username from?

Not sure why the story had to get mucked up with a downer ending. The rest was very good so it's a shame to see it crash with the ending.

Yay im not weird for shiping Brae and AJ.Though why all the fictions on them are sex themed?

Who knows.... i guess in certain circles that sort of thing sells.

6272179 seems like it

6257776 I don't mind the ending it's the apprehension and realisation of how wrong it was but then it was mainly his doubt to whether it was love or lust it takes a wise mind to find out that answer. A lot of virgins have this same thought after coitus for the first time. Unless you have the insight previously to know that it was true love.

Apple incest is alway great to read, I like it a lot.
