This story is a sequel to Tangled Roots
After Babs Seed moves in with her cousins and grandmother at Sweet Apple Acres, seven years and twenty-eight seasons of lessons about friendship, love, and the true meaning of family shape her into the mare she ultimately becomes.
What became of Babs Seed's mother and sister? Will the bobtailed foal ever see the ones she left behind again? How will the other Ponyville Cutie Mark Crusaders react to their fourth member earning her cutiemark before the rest? Is family what we are born into, or is it what we choose to create? And, ultimately, can a city-pony truly adapt to country life?
This is the second installment in the Tangled Roots timeline. "Sweet Apple Anthology" is a collection of sequential side-stories spanning across seven years after the end of the first story's final chapter and continuing to its Epilogue.
The story continues in the third installment, Severed Roots.

However, you've spelled Appleloosa as Appaloosa. Whilst the town is based on the horse breed, like all other cities (besides Dodge City), it's name is a pun and is therefore Appleloosa as seen on the currently used map right here:

the feels! I've been in somewhat relivent senario and had to move back to my roots and it was a big scear at first but it felt safe.
Yeah, I'm not sure Tanlged Roots needed a sequel. I was quite happy with the ending as it is.
Ahem. First allow me to say I am sorry it took me so long to get here so lets get into the nitty gritty.
A long awaited return to bed
finding where ones lifesprings head
lies in wait for the roots once pulled out
set back into sand like those devout.
One a chance to live in peace
the other a return to sweet release.
Clockwork turns the time by hour
washed away like dirt in a shower.
Cleansed be the Manehattan mares
to a new town yet draw no stares.
Lives far away from the bottle
left to the Fop to hold and throttle.
Fallen from their great stone height
yet one stands to save them in their plight
welcomed home under boughs of an apple tree
shading them in the sunlight dappled it be.
Gentle be the hooves that guide
one to fall with tears uncried.
It needs more but I digress

Oh, them Manehattan accents. Tough to do, but you gotta do 'em: it truly feels and looks wrong if you don't, and you really have to do them your own way, from scratch. I think this is fine, and WAY more light-handed than mine.
